I suppose it depends on how one defines "normal"...

The only way to become old and difficult to fool is to have been fooled at some point - possibly many - while younger.

I've occasionally done that with an Airplane! quote. Or Princess Bride. :)

Sen. Reek needs to climb back into his hole.

Does anyone else think that Ludnick's comments about "beautiful" and "weak beef" seemed a bit...Freudian?

I have never read a book of yours that I haven't enjoyed thoroughly. If your name is on the cover, I know I'm pretty much guaranteed a good time.

I was using "plague rats" until FB started flagging it as hate speech, back during Covid.

MacTurd the Mad King. Maybe if the trees on his golf course marched on Mar-a-Lardo.

Yup. Center-right at best, given how thoroughly they sanewashed El Pendejo back during the campaign and since.

I was thinking it might have more likely been the other end of the horse. Especially given whose idea this was.

Give 'em heck, Pete. We can't let them get away with stuff like this. Besides, what other secret conversations are they having that they don't want any record of?

And the f'ers are hiding. They're wearing masks and hoods so nobody can ID them. What are they afraid of? Due process? The Constitution? Sheesh.

Look for your DNA data to be used in insurance actuary tables soon to deny you coverage, or charge you an extra couple of fingers and toes for it.

And why does Musk apparently warrant a Secret Service detail?

Heck, I'm a US citizen and *I* don't want to re-enter the US right now.

Part of why a whole lot of people outside the US don't like people from the US.

Of course not. We're just the electorate. Why do they feel the need to talk to us?

I prefer Nord. But that's because it does a couple of things ExpressVPN doesn't.

Yeah. Most of the cryptids I've got so far in the secret universe mostly want to avoid becoming trophies on some yay-hoo's wall.

Good for you. If someone can't be bothered to write the story, nobody can be bothered to *read* it.

Key West. It's already weird. Cryptid wanders down the street, people will just check what they're drinking. :)

I'm working on a couple of different fictons. In one, magic is public, and has been for a couple of years. I'm working on ideas around "how do we deal?" In the other, magic is secret. There are cryptids, shifters, magic users, elementals. Survival is the main reason to keep it secret.
