I love how the moon kinda just never goes away in Ireland like growing up I thought the phrase blue moon was when the moon was visible during the day and was like that you're always doing that 😅

As a kid I would carry a notebook with me when in bookstores and write down authors and book titles and order them in my library I don't remember ever being turned down

I'm saying the audience never sees it as a problem due to the fact the actors are actually close in age making it easier to buy the "they're mature for their age" but having the actors match the age of the character then suddenly it's more visible

Teen shows have way too much forbidden romance between teachers and students and people actively ship them because the actors are actually the same age so looks fine have age appropriate actors suddenly you see why it's gross and don't push that storyline

Are you saying we need to use older actors to help our imagination? All it did was cause people to not understand how people should look at certain ages as when actors started matching ages suddenly we noticed how much like babies teenagers are

So a kind of self fulfilling prophecy they "know" that this was used to create unrealistic body proportions and caused women difficulty breathing so of course actors are complaining about this it's working as intended added bonus if you get to destroy the symbol of patriarchy itself in the show

Junk science plus costume designers or directors misusing them either through storytelling to further this myth for symbolism or actively enforcing because they believe the myth and are looking for this exaggerated look for the show leading to actors being in pain complaining in interviews about it
