I've been gifted some papers from someone who worked on the Royal Navy ice patrol ship HMS Protector, which served in Antarctica in the 1960s, and if any ship had a better logo than its cheery nautical penguin I want to know about it. 🐧🐧🐧 #NavalHistory #MaritimeHistory

One of the things that bothers me a lot about AI* search/website generation is its effect on what I tend to think of as 'boring facts'. Recent examples for me: * Obligatory note: 'AI' covers many things, some of which are useful (and/or have been re-named, see 'machine learning'...)
