ATS Roadtrip project has the potential to either be the push needed to encourage SCS to reach the US east coast: or it ends up like the coach infrastructure baked into parts of ETS2: unused and ultimately forgotten. Especially if it means you can add additional car-only locations.

People on the Australian east coast and NZ (esp. casual fans) will use any mode of transport they could to go see Cena if it were on the east coast. With it being in Perth: once east coast casual fans see how much it will cost to fly there, and get accomodation, let alone tixs: they'll stay home.

TKO signing a deal with the WA government literally ties them to a situation where the most viable solution for John Cena's last Australian hurrah will be in a 15k arena in Perth, not one where you could pull a larger gate than WM night 1/2 this year in Sydney or Melbourne.

The Perth problem for WWE in October is simple. I cannot see WWE drawing a higher percentage of interstate visitors to WA than it did for Elimination Chamber last year. If anything, the crowd in Perth will be even more skewed local than Elimination Chamber.

I'm openly expecting a Pokemon Presents before the Switch 2 drops into stores in June. And, it will have a hell of a lot to do with Pokemon Home. The Pokemon Home 4.0 update (adding Switch 2 compatibility) needs to be out as close as possible to the Legends ZA release.

You could well be right on the money. Home will need to be ready to have Switch 2 compatibility. Especially as Colosseum/XD have heavy outbound connectivity features to Gen 3 titles. But I wonder: the rebrand of NSO libraries as "Nintendo Classics" opens the door for offline collections?

"Nintendo Switch Online classic game libraries are being renamed to "Nintendo Classics". I 100% think this is to prepare for "Nintendo Classics" title hubs to be available through the Nintendo eShop as offline propositions. This is how you'll get Gen 1-3 ported to the Switch/Switch 2, I reckon.

The one thing people will be astounded at: Pokemon Legends ZA will likely be the big first party title that sells Switch 2's in it's very first holiday season. That's a hell of a lot of trust to give Game Freak, coming into the 30th anniversary of Pokemon in 2026 and all.

I wonder how #PokemonWorlds in Anaheim will cope with the potential that some VGC players will be using a Switch 2 in August. I wouldn't be surprised if Game Freak have been running Scarlet/Violet's competitive functions off Switch 2's since they got a dev kit.
