It was on BBC Radio 3 yesterday morning. A beautiful piece of music, beautifully played. Thank you both.

Mine started about 7 years ago around the time my husband died. Or perhaps I just noticed it more. My problem is, it sounds like the cigales and as I live in the south of France, sometimes I can't tell if it's the tinnitus or the insects. But now mostly I just ignore it.

The women's movement anywhere is to be applauded, but as a woman born in the 1950s, can I say, one of the best ways to get ahead as a woman, is learn to defend yourself. It's amazing what confidence comes out of a woman who knows how to fight back. And men see it. My dad was the one who taught me.

Now that pic would make a brilliant jigsaw. In fact, ALL the 'how light is it in #Orkney at 5pm this week' would make brilliant jigsaws. You promised me.🙏

Remember it well. I was 7. We lived in Gibson Street,Hillhead, number 44 and I remember going to help push cars that got stuck on the incline past the Hillhead Congregational Church. Those were the days!

A British commentator used the 'see you next Tuesday' word to describe this post. Much as I dislike swearing, I had to agree with him. Homeless people have more decency in their little finger than this piece of 💩.

Normally, Brian, I don't like swearing, but this time, I agree totally.

I said the same thing. Who the hell is this guy?

Pedant here. Surely you mean unfounded. But I agree. This is terrible news.

I sang in my primary school choir on that stage c.1960. I think the event was the Glasgow Schools Music Festival. I led the choir on and off stage as I was the only one wearing a kilt. School uniform was a grey pleated skirt, but I wore a kilt. (I think it had something to do with money.)

I wondered when we'd get our first nail advice, et voilà! I took your advice, on nail care, a number of years ago and it was the best. As you say, everyone should use nail and cuticle care products. At 73, I still get compliments on my nails. Thanks, Brian.

Treble Roy Goodman singing the top C in Allegri's Miserere. Such a pure sound.
