I have always thought it should be compulsory, and that it should be a national holiday so there was no excuse NOT to vote. Sure, there are some jobs that don’t get days off, but then businesses should be heavily fined for not giving their staff time to go vote.

I'm so proud of my city! I wanted to be there, but had to work. I'm glad so many people turned out!

Honestly? Who cares? Why spend time trying to figure these people out? We can all see what they're doing. We need to focus on stopping them. The whys and wherefores can come later as the historians are analyzing and picking things apart. Action is the task of the moment, not analysis.

The total obliviousness of Republican voters just boggles the minds of anyone with common sense.

Thank you. It's a better day today. The fever seems to have broken and the headache is still there but not as strongly. I appreciate the encouragement!

I get that. I've started investing in hard copies again too. I'm even getting really nice hardcover versions of some things, like classical literature and the like. Barnes and Noble has a Collectibles Collection that has hardcover versions of a lot of the classics for really reasonable prices.

As someone with a disability who fits more than one category of the Republican's groups of people who need to be erased and eradicated from our country, I hope that I can be as brave as you're all being when my time comes. 2/2

As a liberal living in Texas, I want you to know that there are a lot of us here rooting for you and your compatriots. We're making phone calls, showing up at protests, and doing whatever we can to support y'all. 1/2

The first audiobook is over 50 hours long, so this series is going to take me a while! :)

This book was written in 1935, so the point of view of the author is less than modern. He does, however, occasionally insert surprisingly forward thinking and concepts of diversity. This is an eleven book series covering pre-Christian times through the regime of Napoleon.
