BBC reporting this again at midnight! If an employee’s expenses are signed off by their manager and paid - where or what is the issue. If there were an issue the expenses would have been challenged and not paid. Are they suggesting her employer’s had issues with governance, controls and standards?

I do have sympathy with those who haven’t bought their land primarily to avoid inheritance tax. Those with aged owners haven’t got time to put in place transition over years. I ceased to listen to them when they allowed those with large egos and wallets to highjack their cause.

And private dentistry thinks it now has licence to print money. Most operate with “plans” providers of those plans are pushing up their prices with impunity - 30% this year for some. This “industry” needs greater investigation and regulation. Sadly after Tories decimated NHS dentistry no choice.

A Government that clearly does not want to get their message through to anyone in Merseyside region and indeed many other supporters in the UK who would never consider buying or even looking at this “media”. After judgment for Prince Harry and Lord Tom Watson this is just tone deaf on many levels.

Absolutely - NO it wasn’t. You didn’t need the bank of Mum & Dad - I wouldn’t have had access to that!! You earned a decent salary in ordinary non-professional job that meant you could save a deposit. House builders/landlords weren’t making outrageous profits at expense of “ordinary working people”

And so heartwarming - a joy to watch from such talented people. More of this please as opposed to shouty,threatening abusive, atmosphere and relationships existing in today’s soaps!! Won’t watch Eastenders, Corrie, Emmerdale etc. Trailers enough!! What a twisted view of “normal” family life.

Totally agree with this. Thought after pandemic that we might have better personal hygiene which benefits us all. But no - we are back to poor or no public WCs - empty or no soap dispensers - inefficient hand driers and those who just don’t wash their hands after using the loo. Disgusting and lazy!

Time for shareholders and boardroom to take financial hit instead of low paid, producers, consumers. UK shoppers have been subjected to inflated food prices for years, at the same growers/producers are squeezed on what they get for their produce. All to maximise profit, dividends and boardroom pay.
