More than 160 Gazan medics held in Israeli prisons amid reports of torture

‘We can’t go back’: Staffordshire firms fight to keep ceramics tradition alive. Such a total disrespect by an employer of its workforce.

The north of England had high hopes for this government. Why is it only offering us crumbs from the south?

Rachel Reeves says ‘no one raised concerns’ about her expenses at HBOS. Would we be hearing any of this nonsense if this were a bloke!! Come on BBC - get real - stop dancing to ???’s tune. You are paid by my licence fee to report news not this meaningless mysogynistic drivel!!

Tackling child poverty in Britain must be made a priority. Totally agree with this. Children are urgent case and need support now. Amongst other things SureStart needs re-establishing across all UK. Will helps schools - will help NHS - will help parents.

Starmer forced to cut short visit to housing development after protest by farmers. Democracy huh!!! Self interest - sod those that can’t afford homes. Lost interest in farmers plight when they allowed “diddly squat” millionaire egos and mentality to highjack their issue.

Nationwide warns Reeves against cutting tax breaks on cash Isas. If this is true - the City - the ever greedy City - must be put back in their little box!!! Pensioners save with Cash ISAs - do not save routinely in long term assets. This hits pensioners and would be house buyers simultaneously!! No!

I saw illegality and complicity with war crimes. That’s why I quit the UK Foreign Office

Water industry promises £22bn of environmental investment, funded by rising bills. No!! The shareholders and Boardroom have enjoyed funds that should have been invested in infrastructure in decades since Thatcher privatisation. They used our money to pay themselves - now THEY should be made to pay!!

Reeves plans to create ‘Silicon Valley’ between Oxford and Cambridge. Balancing up the North? Improving transport links across the North? Enhancing employment and skills in the North? Improving housing, health and education in the North?London and South East - here we go again and again and again!!

Frasers Group says two-thirds of retail staff are still on zero-hours contracts

Landlords in England and Wales face ban on ‘outrageous’ upfront charges. The issue is also letting and management agents’ charges as they seek to maximise their percentages and income.

UK low- to middle-income families far poorer than OECD counterparts – study. It’s rents and the state of the rental market that needs scrutiny and legislation. Rents being pushed ever higher - profits taken on poorly maintained housing. Let’s have some rules that are fair to both sides.

Falling white-collar pay and the cost to society. While corporates and shareholders push people with qualifications and degrees into benefits as they drive salaries down with taxpayers picking up bill. The wealthy are demonising those on benefits. It’s let them eat cake and live on the streets!

Elon Musk’s Tesla has received almost £200m in UK grants since 2016

How low will British politics go? Ask Elon, master of the Muskoverse – he’ll decide

Now it’s JEREMY VINE TOO!!!! Another mouthpiece working for a minority “party” !! BBC -!what the !!!!!!!! Other news is happening across THIS country!’ The one you’re supposed to report for ALL the people across - NOT A MINORITY!!

The TODAY program is fast becoming the spokesperson for a minority party and a South African. Neither of which I pay my licence fee for. Rubbish. Not interesting. Not relevant. Are you going to report on other corporates on a routine basis.

Why is TODAY program devoting so much of its air time to a South African and a small political organisation?

Tory focus on immigration helped stoke riots, equalities committee chair says

UK pay growth leaps to 5.2%, reducing chances of interest rate cut. If pay is up - benefits bill is reduced!! Every tax payer should be incensed by fact that we are subsidising payroll of every company that pays less than starting point for UC. Higher tax payers will be among those perpetuating it.

I stand by my previous comments.

UK’s bumper pay rises show inflation is tricky to shift. How’s about a “top down approach” on this. We only ever hear about the effect of the pay increases for “workers” not about the impact of significantly higher increases and bonuses of board and Senior Mngmnt. They all impact same P&L account.

'I will not touch bread if it is moist': Kemi Badenoch sparks Westminster food fight. With all the issues in UK - not least for those who must resort to the foodbank system created by Cameron/Osborne and their ideology this is what the Leader of the Opposition spends her time focused on! Mindless!

Corporates complaining about NI increase. Amazing how they don’t complain about board bonuses. How’s about cutting dividends and bonuses and start paying more in lower pay and employ more. That will ensure benefits bill for UK is reduced as we taxpayers won’t be subsidising their payroll costs.
