Apologies to those who purchased our gift shop’s “flexible hula hoops” that turned out to be green anacondas. The good news is they are non-venomous!

WA Republicans droned on for almost 5 hours over the edits to the so-called "Parent's Bill of Rights." But ultimately Dems shut down their Fox News inspired amendments and got a step closer to defanging the vague rightwing attack on LGBTQ+ students. www.theburnerseattle.com/post/parents...

I found this old Kindle Fire (HDX 8.9") ... Once a top-notch tablet, now, it's stuck on KitKat (Android 4.4) and getting anything to run on it is a challenge. It still works perfectly fine with a great display and even an okay battery life. For S&G I checked the trade-in value on Amazon: $5 🤣

And now, Seymour, tell those dirty Hippies that everything is their fault because of their futile attempt to defund me!

Telling on themselves: Seattle Times hyperventilates about the brief closure of a 10-seat high-end sushi restaurant (they had no permit to operate and lacked a handwashing sink, per the county) shortly after telling readers to report people selling fruit and tacos to the county. tinyurl.com/mttfs48n

I think it's very important to note that when you want to run human misery like a business--a business based on rounding up people to ship them to a country they aren't from to work in forced labor camps--you're a slaver. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025...

Raise your hand if you need some inspiration for your leftovers (and a cool new nickname!) An average family of four loses about $3,000 every year on wasted food. By using all of what you buy (including your leftovers) you can combat food waste and save money. Learn more: www.usefoodwell.org

What a time to be subsisting!

UPDATE: ICE is wildly unconcerned about where this man is and no one will tell me, his registered attorney. The universal answer so far is "let's wait and see where he ends up." This is deeply off. We would have more rights at this point if UPS had lost a pair of shoes I'd just bought from Zappos

To be fair, one man technically does not have this kind of power; he has it only because he has the support of an entire political party and its movement

NEW: Two-thirds of NYC voters support creating municipal grocery stores to bring down prices. "The concept is imminently feasible. In fact, publicly owned grocery stores are quite common and already exist at scale—in the US military."
