Taking an extended social media break! See you all in the spring!

Since I’m seriously considering deleting all social media, I wanted to give my very small group of followers the best advice I can: Get a library card and use Libby and Hoopla if offered. Books, audiobooks, comics, magazines delivered straight to your device of choice. You’re welcome!

Managed to feel well enough to get a game in! Moon is super fun and you can make the rovers kiss 🥰

Rough start to Orcacon, my body decided to flare up so I don’t know when I’ll make it down. But I’ve got my sweet Ahsoka giving me snuggles, so not a terrible morning 🥰🐶

With the change in venue, it means MORE vendors in our Merchant Hall! Fun fact - You do not need to have an OrcaCon badge to visit the Merchant Hall. Check our list of returning and new folks exhibiting in our Merchant Hall - tabletop.events/conventions/...

If you ever find yourself saying "No one who works 40 hours a week deserves (to go homeless, to go hungry, etc)" just deleted the "who works 40 hours a week" part. Disabled people don't deserve to go hungry. Children don't deserve to go hungry. Seniors and the elderly do not deserve to go hungry.

Your last saved meme is your moral philosophy.

I’m a complete grinch about new years. Turns out PTSD and living in a neighborhood that celebrates everything with fireworks is a terrible mix! Who knew?!

give me coffee for the things i can change and some gasoline and a match for the things i can’t.

I love bookstores. I love the library. I love books. I love reading.

I truly wish the way able bodied people think disabled people live was accurate. A permanent vacation for not being able to work? I wish! Getting all of your needs met by the government? I wish! Being able to lay in bed all day and never have pain or worries, dude, I WISH!!

No one is an exception to becoming disabled. No one is immune to disability. Your health is not a guarantee. Even when you age, disability is almost inevitable at some point. Advocating for disabled people is advocating for your inevitable future.

As someone who works with people with eating disorders this is an essential PSA for the holidays and all times Don’t 👏 comment 👏 on 👏 people’s 👏 bodies No, seriously, DON’T even if you think it is a compliment

I love Sunday mornings. I get some coffee from a local stand, catch up with my husband, read some romance novels…and I’m reminded of the freedom I have since quitting church 💜

Sometimes, the best way to kick off the weekend, is to read a little alien smut 👽💗

so grateful to exist it is such an honor and a blessing to be alive. reeling from this unfathomable gift

She’s got that star power

chuffed.org/project/1156... Please donate to Eman and Mahmoud and share. Their son, Alaa, is doing better and just had 1 banana after many months without fresh fruit. #Gaza #genocide #Palestine #Chuffed

My lovely loves!

“Disabled people know what it's like to exist and persist, even in the wake of attempted elimination, trauma, and grief.” Against Technoableism by Ashley Shew

So my attempts to dehydrate apples in my air fryer failed. But goddammit my apartment smells incredible. I’m going to do this instead of lighting a candle.

I can count on one hand how many times a piece of media has made me cry…but this week’s Bob’s Burgers destroyed me.

No. RFK Jr has dedicated the past two decades of his life to making it more likely that children will die of preventable illnesses. The only "good stuff" he believes is that Americans should eat better and exercise more, something every institution of public health already promotes constantly.

Imagine spending $200 per month on ChatGPT and your reward is getting slapped on a big Bluesky blocklist as soon as you share your exploitative works. That'd suck. Anyway bsky.app/profile/eidy...

"murder is wrong" No shit. Then we should be talking about how unaccountable megacorporations socially murder countless people through algorithmically dehumanizing their "customers".
