Babet: Nothing is real. It’s a plot. The more they deny it the truer it is. It’s spooky.

She’s been parroting the phrase in a context that makes the copying echo loudly, then claiming she had some sort of intellectual input. 😹

The Liberals have moved further to the right with every election for over forty years. If they lose they say, “we need clear space, evacuate the contested centre.” If they win they say, “this is a vindication of our decision to leave the central ground.” They are in deep in the fruitcake zone now.

Yes. If you are OS for an extended period you may apply for an exemption. Otherwise they can mail the voting slips to you, or you can vote at a consulate or commission. If you don’t vote you will be fined.

Ditto! This chart really illustrates the paucity of public discourse in Australia. Where are the human centred political parties that should be filling the left hand side of the square?

Rest of the world here. We are mostly encouraging our friends and family in the USA to leave quickly and safely.

Hilarious. Sydney offers value for money that would have keewees drooling.

The grubs are making a point of being nasty. I hope the members are ready to teach them a lesson.

Nice! You’ve obliviously done this before. Do you have a press or are you using weights?

Yes. Approx. 10% for firm cheese and about 15% for soft and fresh cheeses.

I’m surrounded by people who think the harmoniser is an absolute steal, and are wondering if they should buy the crystals because you never know what is going on with the street lights.

a: you win all the time because he telegraphs every move he makes. b: he yells at everyone, always has his hand in the kitty, and leaves the table in a huff.

Looks great. Quick, easy and delicious. What’s the reason for using club soda instead of flat water?

It’s been a few years since I’ve seen that price.

All the libertarian, free speech, anti-government rhetoric has collapsed into DO WHAT I SAY.

The “real” men thing has been used as a lever in power relations all of my life. Which is just a way of saying Social media is not the cause of that behaviour. Social media profits enormously from it, and amplifies it to increase their benefit. It facilitates social division for profit.

Ingredients, wages, packaging, costs (rent, power, etc), delivery (international air), and operational profit. Definitely not $3.

Patriarchy is best friends with religious zealots. This is going to hurt all our children but the burden and the responsibility will be forced on our girls.

Not the lead’s fault. Long term proximity to boomers most likely cause of violent resentment.

Obviously not financially possible. I bet the choice was (a) call anyone but the previous supplier in NZ (b) there is no other choice. It’s possibly the death rattle of this scheme.

😵‍💫 For every New Zealand species, Australia has an analogous species, coevolved among more dangerous predators, more challenging environments, more competition for the same resources, and they are flood, flame, and famine resistant. If they don’t mind getting cold and wet, New Zealand is a paradise.

“Specialist” in this context means industrial lobbyists.

Having those animals trapped in tiny cages should have been enough to prohibit any animal welfare certificate.

“Women are still waiting for good men to… ” Don’t wait. Don’t wait for some one else to do things you want done. If you want it done, do it.

💯 The issue is that Facebook spends its billions on retaining its audience. If it is doing that successfully then it has come responsibility to them. Denying access to information of this sort is irresponsible and endangering lives.

Yes. And having someone offer to grease the pathway to privatisation to profit from your misfortune is super creepy.
