Last but not remotely least is Vivi. She found me in the middle of nowhere Florida, skin and bones and a day from meeting with death. Happy and healthy now she's my ever present companion.

For the people who ask how anyone could do that job, these plague tinged rat shit cops & ice are chomping at the bit to hurt us. This is the job they chose. They've been bred to lack empathy and absolutely want to abuse and harm others. The junta wants violence, its fundamental to project 2025.

I'm so, so very sorry for your loss. The strays we bring home are always the very best companions. Its clear Simon had an abundantly good life thanks to you. All my best wishes to you and yours while he crosses the rainbow bridge.

maga is licking it up on the former bird site. The sheer level of stupidity with anyone defending these arguments is astounding. Being a "low info voter" is a choice in these times. Voting against their own best interest is going to have massive, real world consequences, and it will be too late.

Ding Ding Ding... They are absolutely pushing people to violence to meet their own ends. This is deliberate.

An idea that a student had while stoned beyond measure and having a drink at the bar, scribbled onto a napkin, all but forgotten as it fell out of their pocket. It was the solution to the Coulomb barrier in cold fusion. Endless, clean energy. Clumsy kids just littering solutions to world problems...

Yes, but the president can call up and control the guard in the case of Insurrection or enforcement of federal law among other things.

The President cannot use military personnel to enforce domestic policies within the United States. However, the National Guard can be used domestically. They are chomping at the bit, baiting us with these ICE raids and hoping for violence, which would give the president exactly what he wants.

Ehh, sorry, I cant not, being a maker of adult novelties and all.
The Latin name for this cactus is "Danger Dildo."

This motherfucker is a seditionist traitor which makes it a certainty that Trump will intervene on his sentence in some capacity.

No, he spent 44 billion. Then he spent some pocket change buying Trump.

Having been around people who have actually been trained to use firearms, law enforcement and military to boot, this fat fuck has absolutely not been trained. Brandishing a firearm in such a way, fat fuck clumsy, is a no no.

The moisture meter says "totally soaking wet" in all the beds. We had a massive amount of rain yesterday so no surprise there. I appreciate your time and thank you for looking at this.

The yellow gooey stuff is actually what's left of the carrot. Its the hundreds of little tan round things that weren't there yesterday!
comment in response to
post
Yeah, the little round things look like insect eggs to me but IDK. I'm probably going to dig this area out. I'm about certain the soil I bought for the beds or the compost, or both, were contaminated with Verticillium and or Fusarium fungals - almost all my tomatoes have signs of it in their stems.

@amyb8888.bsky.social thoughts on this? We've had a ton of rain, its 90º outside and 98% humid. If it grows, it grows like crazy this time of year. Ive got fungus zamongus all over the yard otherwise.

The yellow liquid looking stuff is what's left of the carrot at ground level.

Its possible that the bed is overwatered. This is Florida and we can get two inches of rain in one afternoon. However, this bed is drained really well. Its only at the base of this one carrot, so far. The carrot was gooey at the top and the stems were splayed out. They look more like eggs up close.

Little Gems, any idea of just what the hell I have going on here? First its squash borers and bugs destroying my summer squashes, F or V wilt in the tomatoes, now this on my carrots. Nothing more demoralizing than this. I clearly failed. @lettucewrangler.bsky.social

BUENA MULATA...! Thanks Google!
Also, I stay away from Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds as they are a bit, ehh, maga, from my understanding. You might think a company opposed to GMO would be a bit more blue, but apparently not.

Those seeds are hard to come by. At least from say 2024. You might have some luck on Etsy. Definitely don't get seeds from Amazon. There's a purple or violet pepper I've been coveting for a while. It changes colors dramatically as it ripens on the bush. I'll see if I can find it somewhere.

Third batch? Stop! Don't even bother... Spend the few bucks and get some seeds from last season. This company has variety packs as well. Ive got jalapeno, habanero, ghost, bell, and poblano going this year. In Florida we can perennial a lot of annuals...

Dawe, all the incels can't gender affirm their F150? Say it isn't so.
Clearly the legislature there has NOTHING better to do.
I'm curious what the rest of the "emergency" bill has in it. Safe bet it's anti LGBTQ and drag as well.

Could be your seeds. I've had a few pepper seeds that basically refused to germinate under the most optimum conditions. I either save seeds from last year or order them from Eden Bros. I have 12 jalapeno plants that all came from one pepper. Seeds I bought at Lowe's a few years ago never germinated.

No. "Need" in this context is 100% subjective. We NEED people to actually be able to solve basic problems and overcome obstacles. Apparently people under 40 don't feel compelled to do either and that's why we're going to fail on such a massive scale.
