Halfway through building the Lego Ornithopter something felt off with the landing gear/ramp mechanism. Checking a review video of it confirmed it didn’t move as intended. I found the problem and had to do some careful surgery to move an axle one hole over. Phew, back on track!

I think I'd rather live in the Summer Wars reality where the too-big-to-fail social media that's become too integral to society to function without gets fucked up by a rogue experimental military AI rather then the current one where they get fucked up by the whims of insecure, bigoted manchild CEOs.

This is why I think it's important to say 'generative AI' or 'genAI' etc when complaining about fully automated luxury plagiarism machines. A lot of AI and machine learning is good! It benefits genAI companies and enthusiasts if, when you say 'AI sucks', they can pretend you mean this stuff too.
