someone scrolling casually through might think Harvard is facing “consequences” for resisting trump when the reality is so much worse: instead of fighting, they hired “a lobbying firm with deep ties to Mr. Trump” to find out how best to appease him. and, no surprise, he is doing this anyway.

I’ve also noticed that I am often immobilized by doomscrolling. Even when I walk away from it, I carry a lingering sense of overwhelm and despair that can take hours to shake off. For a lot of people, that’s basically a permanent state.

for me it’s really, really not about *your* car that you already own. But there is an important reason to discourage people from buying new tesla cars. Musk’s power comes from his wealth and Tesla is where the vast majority of Musk’s wealth is concentrated (not X).
