Remember in the campaign when Democrats were hammering on Project 2025, and it was working, and then Trump disavowed it, and the media AND the Dems went "OK, never mind"?

As many as 325,000 pro-rule of law protesters in Belgrade, Serbia, also this weekend.

Same. Balls, but same.

Do not obey in advance. Way too much of that going on. Make these fascists work for it.

They're there to help, by handing out leeches.

The guy will eventually have the US leave both, NATO first. But I think he will attempt to use both for his own designs, before he leaves and calls them "corrupt."

US expat here. Next time I fly home (and I'm in no fkn hurry), I think I'll fly to Toronto and drive the rest of the way. Or maybe just ask for asylum.

Dems lost the most consequential election of our lifetimes in no small part due to their moral failure on Gaza, and they still don't get it. Fuck 'em.

Many people are saying if you take enough ketamine every woman in a 20-mile radius will become pregnant with your child.

The ineptitude of many in this administration, and the tendency among MAGAs to stab each other in the back, are the only things giving me any hope right now.

They are trying to crash the economy.

Why are we even pretending that every statement coming out of this administration isn't a deliberate lie? Not spin, not poor judgment. Lies.

Maybe now Dems will understand they need to stop futzing around being polite and all and actually DO something.

The loyalty of an indicted, unpopular mayor bought and paid for by the party in power in a clean-cut case of obstruction of justice by the US AG. In some countries, an organized opposition party might see this as a great opportunity to mobilize.

Do you think I'm pro-Trump? I voted for Harris. But Dems knew in August this issue was going to hurt them and never changed course, even after "red lines" were crossed. They own this too. truthout.org/articles/pol... www.commondreams.org/news/harris-...

The Biden Administration spent $22 billion supplying arms to Israel in 2024. After leveling Gaza, Netanyahu was never going to allow Palestinians to remain there anyway. Had he been restrained, maybe Gaza wouldn't be up for sale.

Collaborating by supplying the means (and political support) with which Netanyahu leveled Gaza, after which he never had any intention of allowing Palestinians to remain there.

"In the meantime, I (NOT 'WE') would own this." Cool.

Good job, Biden Administration, collaborating in the deaths of 48,000 people. They knew it would alienate much of the Dems' base in an election with so much at stake, but did it anyway. I held my nose and voted for Kamala. A lot of people did. I can't blame those who did not.

The media needs to disabuse itself of the quaint notion that Trump is too dumb to understand that tariffs (not to mention willy-nilly firing thousands of government workers) will cause economic turmoil. THAT'S THE PLAN.

It's somewhat comforting to know that they still care about optics. I didn't think they had a red line. Good to know there still is one. For now.

Unfortunately, two Dems (Fetterman and Welch) just did that, voting with Republicans to confirm Eric Turner as HUD Secretary.

The people of Serbia are on the verge of toppling the rampantly corrupt Vucic regime, a development that would undoubtedly jeopardize this project. Lots going on globally but keep an eye on Serbia, and the rest of ex-Yugoslavia.

As MSNBC noted, "an unusual statement that came without any public criminal charges." Exactly what article of which law is being violated? This "judge" needs to show his work. For context, this douche was appointed by TFG about five minutes after his inauguration.

AOC was on Jon Stewart's podcast last week and she called out Dems' key weakness, which is that they think sticking to decorum, norms, "the high road" and whatnot makes them the good guys. This is a no-rules cage match, and it's time to act accordingly.

We all tried to tell people, man. Guess everyone needs to learn the hard way now.

For your sake, I hope they don't ripen all at once.

Every elected Democrat should be in front of a camera right now and/or releasing statements for their constituents explaining in the simplest language possible who will be paying these tariffs.

They should detain him and refuse to let AF1 take off until funds are released. Two can play the hostage game.

He's telling us, he's telling everyone: he's a Nazi. Don't expect Trump to condemn it or Elon to apologize. When have any of these people ever done anything decent?

Swear to God if I see anyone trying to normalize this with, "Well, actually, the salute originates with the Romans..." I will straight up lose my sh*t.

If only he'd held some influential position for three or four years, perhaps he could've done more than make suggestions.

"And I invited their figurehead to the White House and smiled for the cameras with him, further normalizing the whole thing."

GOP senate support for this douche is not a surprise. What is disappointing (though not entirely surprising either) is the game of softball Ds are still playing. Not one D asked Hegseth about his white Christian nationalist tattoos. If confirmation is inevitable, at least expose these fascists.

According to the Supreme Court, sitting presidents have immunity. Biden could do lots of things to "hold Trump accountable."
