so as you said sometimes it may send signals when it doesn’t need too. learning how to retrain the nerves/ nervous system to react a bit less is often one of the things PTs try to help ppl w that deal w chronic pain. u sound like u have have some idea of what u are looking for.

our nerves are very good at protecting our bodies. sometimes if they have had a lot of pain signals for long periods it starts to interpret other signals like pressure, movement, temp, etc as pain or it takes less to trigger it. it’s really common and the n sys is amazing but can be overractive…

they are looking at if you have had pain for so long your nervous sys has started to process things a bit differently making the pain spread or or more intense and when we have pain for a long time the areas of our brain that process where our pain/ foot should be start to get a bit blurry

I would ask your PT to explain why they did it. but it depends on whether they found it was an issue for you or not

They were assessing some thing called laterality. it is a way to look to see how much of your pain involves your nerve pathways essentially or one of the ways. Chronic pain is more complex than acute pain in our nervous sys. bc of that, there’s lots more to consider than msc and joints.

pizza n cake. most kids eat at 11 at daycare anyway ( i know it’s for a 2 yr old). is ok but stick w toddler safe( unless u are going to cut up all the grapes) Keep it simple bc u will appreciate simple and the parents will just be happy to talk to another adult and kids just want pizza

depends on your kiddo but generally age 4 with some basic sets ( they have age 4 sets) if you can supervise and keep it always away from the younger. the age 4 sets tend to be a transition from duplo and chunkier pieces but still have the occasional small 1x1 or circular that fits up the nose

We’re overloading the system 😜😜

also important is group blocks and mutes. keeps the trolls out of your feed and the lists automatically update

2. Starter packs These are a Bluesky innovation. They are themed packs of accounts that you can 'follow all' or browse through to select from. For instance, a good start for medicine is go.bsky.app/KSyD6kk
