Also remarkable that Marco Rubio feels like he has any moral credibility to comment with the Trump administration deporting asylum seekers to Panama and having them locked up in hotels.

I agree Musk is a phony on free speech Mark but I think the idea that the party is a champion of free speech these days is a bit exaggerated. Hard to remember the last time any LD Parliamentarian publicly gave an impassioned defence of free speech! All risks ceding civil liberties space to the right

What is clear is that as the UK shrinks into a collective Daily Express/UKIP worldview on seeking asylum, British politics shows it doesn’t have the attention span, intellectual capacity or perhaps just willingness to understand the complexity of the world.
