1 voucher left to unlock everything, 300 hours in. Gold on 6 decks I think. Still loving the game, by far the most I've been hooked by something. Get the jokers though, worth setting up a run or two just to unlock some

Yep I'm from Sligo Denise, that may have been one of my aunts, Roseanne, Margaret or Rita? Bluesky is a definite improvement on Twitter so far 😁

Yes, I sailed from Ireland across to the Caribbean and back solo. It was really incredible, I'm still processing it! It's nice to post some old pics as a way of getting my bearings here

Thanks Denise! No this was taken summer 2023, I'm back in Ireland now. Boat is in Galway

Yes, one of my slight regrets when selling Sapphira will be to have never done one of these. The timing just didn't line up. Perhaps in the future. Azores challenge in particular would be fun

I'm going the other way, there's an ad on the radio here that uses Mr Blue Sky and I'll often open the app after hearing it without being fully aware why

Thanks Les, yep seems like a sensible investment for sure. Want to keep the engine hours down if at all possible.

That's hot alright! I bought a Sadler Starlight 39. She's based in Port Napoleon, about 30 miles west of Marseille. Good news on the 10+ knots, that would be nice. It's a beautiful area.

Hi CaptainLes! I just bought a boat in the south of France, near Marseille. Just back from 2 weeks on her, visiting the Calanques and the Old Port. Loved every minute of it, but didn't get much sailing done. Interested that you said the sailing was great, I was worried that there was never any wind!

Sounds very familiar in terms of effort. You have her looking beautiful anyway judging by your profile pic.

Thanks! I took a year off work in 2022/2023 and sailed across the Atlantic and back single handed. That dream is over now but the next one is forming already, hence the bigger boat in France. Good luck with your prep, it's a fun time!

Trappers are great boats from everything I've heard about them

Sapphira, a 1979 Halmatic 30. Although I've just bought a Sadler Starlight 39, Williwaw, in the south of France. Still in love with Sapphira though, it's tough.

But was pretty exhausted when I got in. Now I'd rather 15 minute catnaps to stay on top of exhaustion on that sort of passage. Longer offshore passages are easier in some ways as you get into more of a routine.

Ah sounds like fun, lovely looking wee vessel. What is she? Good self steering, a sleep plan (depending on where you are crossing you may not be planning on sleep but if you are, a good loud alarm you trust). My first single handed longer passage was 24 hours from Cork to Milford Haven, didn't sleep
