This was designed for educators, but half our participants are enthusiasts. Everyone gains inside knowledge of the commercial space industry and insight into humanity's future. Educators return with confidence to increase student engagement by tapping into their love of space.🚀

Join us for a day at Spaceport America, plus two days in the desert exploring geological sites analogous to places on the Moon, Mars, and elsewhere in the solar system. The gypsum sand dunes at White Sands National Park are very like gypsum sand dunes near the North Pole of Mars!

I watched live with my 9 AM Space Education course as Intuitive Machines landed... and probably tipped over again. Then we went back to our Module Two discussions about how science fiction can inform school change, and how participants can contribute their own original research.

We sure live in a time that seems straight out of science fiction! For the second time this week we could watch a commercially funded robotic moon landing. And it's much more powerful to experience headlines or milestones as part of a learning community!

Slooh is used across the curriculum in K12 education, in addition to college astronomy classes, graduate research, and professional astronomy. At all levels students engage in authentic science: collecting data, writing first hand observations & sharing with a community of peers.

Slooh features remote telescopes in the Canary Islands, Chile, and Australia... including a solar observatory. A network of Earth observation satellites are also coming online, opening up even more learning opportunities in Earth and space science.
