One of my grad students (from India) is conducting a study on moral leadership in the context of humanity's future in space. If you are a space educator, professional, or enthusiast, I hope you can make a contribution here. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F...

It's the special moments, like seeing the Moon and planets after sunset on White Sands, that make each Earth and Space Experience a bucket list experience... and we're going back! ✨ areslearning.com/earthandspace

Need to get up to speed on what's happening in the growing space economy? Don't miss out on our next Space Education cohort starting in ONE WEEK: areslearning.com/course/

If you're at #SXSWEDU (or in the Austin area), I'd love to meet up for a live demo... so you can see how students and teachers use Slooh telescopes across the curriculum from elementary school through grad school. 🌍🔭🛰️✨

I'm here representing Slooh at #SXSWEDU! I'd love to meet up if you're here ... or in the area. It'd be great to chat face-to-face, and I'd be happy to do a live demo too. Just reply or message me so we can connect!

Day 3 is always the most adventurous... and the winds today made Aden Crater feel even more like Mars during a dust storm! 🟠 We also made it to Kilbourne Hole where Apollo and Artemis astronauts have trained in geology to prepare for missions to the Moon! 🌒

Today we visited the New Mexico Museum of Space History to see a surprisingly rich collection of artifacts... before visiting Carrizozo Lava Flow (an anlaog for the Moon & Jupiter's moon Io) and White Sands (an analog for gypsum sand dunes around the North Pole of Mars).

Here's a few highlights from Day 1 of the Earth and Space Experience for Educators! And the stuff we couldn't photograph was even cooler. 😁 Thanks to our hosts at Spaceport America and Virgin Galactic for an awe inspiring day. 🚀

It's not too late to register for tomorrow's free Slooh webinar! Come for the overview and live demo... stay for the expert Q&A: marketing.slooh.com/webinar-wedn... I'm excited to share an overview of Slooh's remote telescope network for students!

We're planning another FREE online Space Education Summit... complete with an opening astronaut panel and full schedule of breakout sessions. Registration is already open... and we're curently seeking sponsors. spaceeducation.squarespace.com

Amazingly, we can still take last minute additions to next week's Earth and Space Experience in New Mexico! Registration is still open here: areslearning.com/earthandspace

I really enjoyed orientation last week with a new cohort! We start Module 1 on Thursday so it's not too late to jump in. I've reopened "LAST CHANCE" registration here: areslearning.com/eu/

Join us for a learning adventure in just TWO WEEKS! Planetary scientist Dr. Kirby Runyon and I are taking educators and enthusiasts into the New Mexico desert for a weekend of Earth & Space Science! areslearning.com/earthandspace

Got some spectacular shots from Slooh's remote telescopes last night... the Orion Nebula was captured from the Canary Islands a few hours before the full Moon was shot in Australia. Students can have access to this during the school day (and from home) using any device with a browser...

I'm looking forward to this series... you can register for free too. The first session is tomorrow! tinyurl.com/5AMEH674/

Couldn't get enough at #SEEC2025 (or didn't even get to be there)? It's not too late to join the next online Space Education cohort at ARES Learning. Classes start this Thursday! areslearning.com/eu/

Pretty great true color in this live image of the Horeshead Nebula through an optical @slooh telescope in the Canary Islands... captured just now from my laptop.
