It’s not actually an extinction level one. Phil Plait wrote about it this week in his news letter. Still big enough to do considerable damage though.

A long time ago I had a friend who was terrified of 2012. She actually wrote an email to you and you put her mind at rest (thank you for that btw). Now if she sees anything apocalyptic she genuinely says what would Phil Plait say.

My stepdad and I built a fish pond. This was many many years ago. This pond is large, 12’ long, 6’ wide, 3 feet deep at the centre. He populated it with Koi Carp. Our friend Mr Heron cleaned it out in one visit 😂.
We then made it heron proof lol.
