God of the Woods by Liz Moore. Nicole Kidman would be a perfect Alice Van Laar.

Since Covid hit, there are no rules. We've all turned feral and hibernated in loungewear for too long. Hard pants and dress shoes is a big ask now, no matter the color.

Years ago, and sadly neither dog is still with us in this realm (possibly you remember me fleeing Sevilla to return home on New Year's Eve 2019 b/c my dog Cleo was about to die), but these two pups of mine always enjoyed a good treadmill session. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Me-t...

Finish it off with a random puzzle from the AVCX archives. You'll go out on a high note. It's only gonna go downhill from here.

Yes, there's a big crossword Discord. But, I think I'm too old for that shit. Gotta draw a line somewhere. 😅

I finished this book a few months ago. It was agony. I, too, liked the idea, and I had LOVED Min Jin Lee's earlier book Free Food For Millionaires.

Is this still there? How did I never see this in 20 years living in Phoenix?

Maybe, but I got so lucky. Some kids are just like oil and water from the start. I am an only child, and never wanted that for my kids. I hoped that they'd end up close, but it's a roll of the dice. My roll was a lucky one. :)
