Much like a corporate raider from the 1980's. When Trump and friends are finished, only a carcass of a country will be left and it will be leveraged to the moon.

If there is an increasing incidence of tax cheating by the super wealthy, shouldn't we consider instituting a VAT in place of an income tax? Everyone agrees that VAT's are regressive. However, a VAT may actually be less regressive than our current tax system is becoming.

And along the way Trump will also have "acquired" financial or other concessions from companies in the industries that he "saved".

Apparently Tim Apple needs to make a larger contribution to Trump's re-election campaign. One time contributions will no longer cut it. CEO's will need a subscription.

Did Tim Apple just make a large contribution to the Trump re-election committee?

Personally, I'm most worried about Trump's handing Ukraine to Russia and the resulting destruction of world order and ecosystems that allowed the US and US companies to become the envy of the world.

Marjorie Taylor Greene says the US has a major migrant problem. She is right. It is a problem of emigration and brain drain as democracy loving Americans move elsewhere.

Just like a corporate raider squeezing every dollar from a company while investing zero back into the company for the future. When the raider is finished, only the carcass of the company is left.

Or maybe on some tropical paradise far far away, someone's offshore account is cleaning up on options trades by frontrunning the daily tariff on- tariff off news.

Remember, if you complain about not receiving your social security check then you have been receiving your payment fraudulently. If you are a green card holder who complains, you may find yourself on an all expenses paid, one way trip to El Salvador.

Given the layoffs, uncertainty, and the fact that many consumers made purchases in the first quarter to avoid impending tariffs, the second quarter should be even worse.
