Essentially ALL TB programs funded by the U.S. Government were officially terminated last night. Horrifyingly, that includes the Global Drug Facility that coordinates the vast majority of TB treatment and tests purchased globally. Shuttering the GDF will stop TB treatment for the entire planet....

Federal prosecutors are not the president’s lawyers. Prosecutors take an oath to support and defend the Constitution, not to implement the president’s agenda faithfully. My thoughts in @MSNBCDaily.

Bobby’s child kill list went up by one today. Lotta of the year left to go.

MAGA R's can perpetrate any lie they like about the budget/reconcilliation. You know who doesn't buy it? The Fed. The bond market.

Just an FYI: Medicaid fraud is rarely perpetrated by beneficiaries. The fraudsters are almost always the doctors and CEO's that administer Medicaid. For example: when a doctor charges the government $600 for an $8 breast pump and pockets the cash and the third party administrator takes a cut.

This is evil. Pure evil.

Important: A *Republican* Congressman, Austin Scott, just wrote to Marco Rubio urging him to address the problems I reported on below that are putting lifesaving treatment for severely malnourished children abroad at risk. He joins Dem Rep Seth Magaziner. Horrific stuff:

I'll state the obvious. This isn't about saving money. It's about control. It's about ousting independence & installing loyalists. It's about frightening folks into compliance. It's about flooding the zone so people miss details & the bigger picture. It's not about saving money. And never has been

Where are the indictments for the alleged fraud?

lol okay. who's in charge? that's secret.

This Republican administration lies like a rug. They say their budget isn't a tax giveaway for billionaires—it is. The say they aren't gutting Medicaid and hurting their constituents—they are.

Like clockwork, MAGA media tries to explain away the anger at GOP townhalls by saying Indivisible orchestrated all of it. They're scared. Keep pushing. freebeacon.com/media/mainst...

How can you tell that Trump and Musk don’t actually care about going after waste and fraud? They just fired someone at the Minnesota VA whose job was to find waste/inefficiencies to save taxpayer money. It’s all a façade to shell out more money for billionaires and big corporations.

Some good advice here.

"Don't worry. We've got our best teenage Nazis on the case and they're swiftly moving to automate your job. No, they don't need to know anything about it first. Wait, why is everyone mad-"

He and Musk have no idea what they are doing. Dangerous clowns

Last week, the Senate GOP passed a budget that included a $150B increase in military spending. This week, the House GOP will vote on its own budget — which includes massive cuts to Medicaid and SNAP to pay for more billionaire tax cuts. This isn't about what we can "afford."

This is so goddamn embarrassing. www.axios.com/2025/02/24/u...

The more you know…

Musk called DOGE “maximally transparent,” but it has refused to release info about its spending and operations — including the names of its employees. ProPublica has identified 46 of them, including 12 new names we've just added.

Jeffries: "Republicans have the House, the Senate, and the presidency. It is their responsibility to fund the government."

We make a fatal error agonizing over a lack of leadership in DC. There are some leaders there who we should praise. But people have always been ahead of politicians. Stop fuming and start organizing, marching, helping.

Ukraine should not have worn such a provocative outfit.

Elmo is demanding that 2.3M federal employees submit 5 bullets representing their accomplishments last week (or be fired). Fun fact. If 2.3M employees spend 5 minutes each answering that email, it will cost taxpayers $8.5M. Your taxpayer dollars funding his harassment of Feds. Now you know.

This is for @gtconway.bsky.social Five things I did last week. 1. Took too much ketamine 2. Danced onstage with a chainsaw 3. Ignored my new baby momma 4. Laughed at my own jokes. 5. Neglected all of my children except for the one I use as a human shield.

"Starting on 28 January, federal employees refused to leave their posts in spite of Musk’s campaign to bully them out... Although 2 million workers were pressured to quit, only 75,000 of them took what looked like a sketchy “buyout” deal." www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

The Associated Press has sued three Trump administration officials over access to presidential events, citing freedom of speech in asking a federal judge to stop the 10-day blocking of its journalists.

“The United States has threatened to cut off Ukraine's access to Starlink satellite internet terminals if Kyiv does not reach a deal with the U.S. regarding critical mineral resources, Reuters reported on Feb. 21, citing three sources familiar with the negotiations.”

Gov. Mills of Maine reminds us how to stand up to bullies.

How does firing Americans help make America great again? Cutting 5-8% of the workers is unproductive and harmful to our economy and society. This is just simply reckless and unsustainable. www.cnn.com/2025/02/21/p...

BREAKING: The Associated Press sues three Trump administration officials over access to presidential events, citing the First Amendment.

Better not call it a “vaccine” or it might not get approved. Maybe market it as a recreational drug.

@hcrichardson.bsky.social did you see your brave governor?

Whatever else emerges in time about the Delta crash in Canada, one thing is certain: the importance & amazing professionalism of flight attendants who safely evacuated the plane in a matter of seconds.

Donald Trump and Elon Musk are putting your Social Security checks at risk.

Oh, I remember that, too. How dare Secretary Pete bring his husband along! The GOP and its mouthpiece are hypocritical bigots.

There's a rally TODAY targeting LaHood if you're near IL-16

The sledgehammer approach is madness. America is not a company you can strip for parts.

Republicans are promoting “financial responsibility” by allowing banks to charge exorbitant overdraft fees.

Shocker of all shockers: Pete Hegseth is in way over his head and embarrassed himself in his first trip overseas as the secretary of defense. www.msnbc.com/rachel-maddo...
