I agree. I don't think you can fix this with front-loaded empathy. That approach has been wrong. Consequences to personal relationships are sadly the only option that will push forward change.

GOOD. One of the things that could actually go a long way towards fixing this mess would be a reinstatement of fireside chats where the best communicators in the sane contingent left/center/right contradict the propaganda clearly, concisely and regularly in widely shareable formats.
