In the last few years there has been a huge number of bike lanes added on my commute route to the Lincoln Park Zoo that I have bike lanes for my entire ride in, some of which are protected. Cold ride today, but not too bad!

It's much harder to find the time to work on the new ideas then it is to come up with the ideas at this point. I have so many 'one of these days' projects that I'll hopefully get to!

The funny that I think people don't realize is that working at a non-profit you often have way more capacity to do research than professors in academia. I'm doing research like 90% of my week!

Damn Eric that one makes me sad! I remember saying we needed more studies like this in a review paper like a decade ago. Is it because urban food webs are just hard to study? Something else?
