This makes it even worse...

Just responded to OP, but it's my bad. You used to be able to fly on BA with no ID but they changed the rules in September 2023.

You're right, looks like the rules were indeed changed in 2023. I definitely took BA flights with no ID just after Covid. My bad!
It does coincide with the time I got an EV in my defence. I haven't been on a domestic flight since.

Even then, there are domestic flights that do not require any form of ID at all.

And I've blocked it on my network to prevent the muscle memory. Better safe than sorry. #xitter

And now that he’s gone, look how well M&S are doing.
There’s a clear difference between companies where leaders recognise their staff and give them the right autonomy + £££ vs companies where the bosses feel the need to micromanage their staff while paying them peanuts.

It should exist until we get some sort of a high speed line down to Cornwall. It shouldn't take us 3hrs to get to Exeter where driving there takes 1.5hrs.
It doesn't just exist for rich Londoners. It's actually quite important for us down in the sticks.
But yes, I fully agree otherwise.

How so? If anything it will improve the service delivery by making it more consistent.
We already have the same model down in Cornwall and it’s working well. I couldn’t imagine having to contact 2 or 3 different Councils.
Even in Europe you wouldn’t usually have more than 2 layers of local gov.

I switched our household over to IOG last month and it worked out quite well in the end. The bills are a little higher at the moment but our usage has significantly gone up. Even if I was to shift our usage, we're still better off on IOG for now.

Yeah that’s fair enough. Regent Street also doesn’t attract as many nutters who take up half of the pavement away from genuine pedestrians.
Longer term it would be nice to pedestrianise both. I have my view on the LTNs, but any High Street has a strong and genuine case for pedestrianisation.

I'm as much of a motorsit as you can get (partially due to where I live but also through personal enjoyment) and I still think it's a great idea. Oxford Street has always been particularly bad and Regent Street should follow soon imo.

I found @bsky.app to do a much better job at curating the content for me than X ever did. By the time I got to say 20th tweet, it was some right wing propaganda or an engagement farm.
Here I just infinitely scroll and engage with almost all posts in some way.

Windows Enterprise gets quite close, but it's still clunky, expensive and promotes all the 'enterprise' services like Copilot and Teams.

I think it's too late, Twitter as a platform is no longer usable anyway. Content curation is awful and the website is full of bots.
And their ads are low quality and spammy, therefore not engaging. I will never going to click on a Temu ad so why even bother showing it to me?

Some of the perfume are genuinely cheaper if you pre-book them, but that's a rare edge case.

Now we have a genuine politician on the platform - surely this is a milestone?

I got some incredible grades, didn't even do uni, went straight to work and at 25 I'm earning a lot more than my graduate peers with better prospects. And I'm about to start a degree apprenticeship, all paid for by my employer.
A-Level grades don't mean anything in the grand scheme of things.

I'm not in the edu world, but I'm in the same boat. It wasn't even worth contributing there as people always found a way of hating your content.

Almost all larger hospitals will have a 'friends of...' charity. They try to make the staff and patient experience less miserable.
