It's been interesting to see that a quarter or more of the libraries I've found are rogue. They don't have a Little Free Library registration number and aren't tracked on the official website. I only stumbled on them incidentally! littlefreelibrary.org/map/

A friend of mine commented that they've seen customers, one after another, pick up a discounted pack of strawberries, see that it's American, put it back down on a giant untouched pile, and then move on.

I'm actually working on a policy explainer about self-checkout accessibility. That's why I have all these pictures! The weird Michaels ones are definitely on my radar. They don't even *try* to be accessible.

And the Canadian Tire in the Eaton Centre has transitioned entirely to self-checkouts. The whole store has be reoriented around securitizing self-service, including prohibiting exit on the basement level.
