It's gonna be fucking Dallas and Carolina, isn't it?

Ooh, new Garbage album coming May 30! It's called Let All That We Imagine Be The Light, and it has an octopus/jellyfish thing on the cover. Do you have any idea how much octopuses imagining light ties into the backstory of Splatoon?

Yesterday - which I remind you was in the year 2025 - I saw young people in the wild in Homestuck cosplay. I wonder how they felt about a 47-year-old man recognizing their costumes, and on a related note, I wonder how people their age knew Homestuck and cared enough about it to make costumes.

Welp, I'm into Balatro now.

I love it when I load up Isaac and see that there's a patch, and I check the patch notes and it's like - Fixed an issue that should have been fixed 8 years ago - Removed a room that everyone could tell was unfair except us for some reason - Removed more of Afterbirth+

The social media turning point for me was when Threads started. I opened the app for the first time and saw that my feed was automatically filled with posts that had thousands of likes and shares; that made me realize that this is all anyone would ever see, and my posts would reach no one.

Is this Bluesky thing gaining momentum? It's hard for me to tell. I think it is?

Facebook decided to show me modern Penny Arcade. Good heavens, if I wanted to see a webcomic as ugly as a mule's asshole, I'd still be drawing my own! Naturally I clicked to hide the page, but now I'm worried that Facebook's algorithm isn't going to give up that easily.

I just have to scream into the void about how much I love Splatoon 3: Side Order. It's replacing The Binding of Isaac as the game I play daily. I've even started turning up the difficulty, because I was starting to breeze through the first 20 floors too easily.

The new trailer for Splatoon 3: Side Order has come out, and it confirms that it's a roguelite. My favorite Nintendo IP and my favorite genre of video game, together at last.

Interesting thing I never fully realized until just now... In most NES games, your character makes a spring or slide whistle noise when they jump. But in a lot of Capcom games, your character jumps silently and makes a "cuppuk" noise when they land.

I recently listened to the Stone Temple Pilots album "Purple" for the first time, and I didn't know Stone Temple Pilots were capable of making an album that good. Now I'm wondering if their other albums I never listened to are also any good.

Bought 10 granola bars on a whim on Tuesday. Ate six of them over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Friday evening, saw the news that these granola bars have been recalled due to threat of salmonella. Well that's just great.

All these years of consistently playing Wordle have led to this.

I'm not sure I even have any followers on Bluesky, but I have to yell into some void that I 100%-ed Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Thinking way too much about a video game I'd like to make with no idea how to make a video game. Like, I'm going in deep on the mechanics and stuff.

Now that Fionna and Cake is over, I can say with authority that it's okay. The best thing about it is the tidbits of expansion on Adventure Time's lore it gives. As for Fionna and Cake's lore, whooooo cares.

Welp, they put Bandit Heeler's voice actor in Adventure Time: Fiona and Cake.
