Morally...yes 100%. If they don't want to be, don't supply them

Wow...if you can try to gaslight people like this you are so low that barely deserve recognition as human

Prince Andrew seems to be showing that shutting up and going away improves your popularity. Note to all political party leaders

Help out French people, is the incredibly soft sentence what all sexual criminals get, or was he let off easy for being famous?
In either case not a good state of affairs

To be fair on net zero. We are probably best off concentrating on adaptation and mitigation at this point, if the worst offenders the US, India and China aren't going to anything. We're a literal drop in the ocean compared to them. Wish it were otherwise but we have to live in the real world

I was young at the time, but always remember Mandelson's comment about the working class having nowhere else to go than Labour. Well they found somewhere else and it's his and his friends fault. I just wish it was the greens or lib dems instead

The sooner, the better, because if they're evil little shits to other people, they are to be trying to distract you with that, rather than doing you any favours in reality

Well now it's good news so why would they

Rubbish cars and owned by a racist. By rights they should all be -100%. Hope it's just preorders going through.

If these people love those countries so much, why don't they move to one of them

FPTP creates a situation whereby you vote for the lesser of 2 evils rather than what you actually want

Donors don't donate out of rhe goodness of their hearts. What do these wealthy foreigners/tax exiles want in return? Nothing in the general publics interest you can be sure

Hope all is well, but shocking that you'd even think for a minute that it might be related to current events and that be justified.

How did the Canadians and Mexicans get on with their trade deal with trump?
EU way more important for our trade and jobs

Maybe not an expert, but I think a lot of it might be more marketing than fact.
Believe that even if it is the case, we need to move away from US products ASAP. If software development is part of that even better as might get a European Oracle or Microsoft emerge out of it

Europeans (UK included) overestimate American power and ability and underestimate their own.

Have to wonder if eventually the "anti semitism" based censorship and coercion will boomerang and end up eroding support for Israel in the US faster

Sure. The word majority implies more legitimacy and therefore, a greater mandate for his extreme changes, which is why the lie is so concerning
comment in response to

Majority means over 50% so far as I'm aware. You can have the most but not have over 50%.
Happy to be corrected if I'm wrong, though

At least we have a leader of the opposition who will hold the government to account for any deal that doesn't surrender deeply enough

British politicians are all morons. They're the only people in the country that believe in and frankly at this stage want there to be a special relationship

Makes you wonder about why they blather on about a US trade deal so much
comment in response to

Watched this last night. Agree with a lot of what he said, but the exaggeration about a European collapse gives me doubts about his analysis. Europe is now and has been, for a long time, a better place to live and work than the US
