I’ve heard this song hundreds of times too. Something I never noticed before today: the album version doesn’t have the loud, crunching electric guitar riff that comes in right before the chorus (or has it much lower in the mix.) And it doesn’t go nearly as hard!

I can still remember where the groove was on my CD copy of Legend (during “Satisfy My Soul”) that made the whole thing grind to a halt so you had to skip to the next song
