Went on a quiet, peaceful walk this morning at the Japanese Tea Garden with @elchefe.me for our last day in San Francisco. This botanical garden is small but mighty. I'd definitely recommend a weekday morning as the ideal time to go--we ran into very few visitors.

Holy crap, the Pico 4 Ultra XR headset is only £308 on @amazonuk.bsky.social ! really fantastic pass through AR thanks to its extremely high quality HDR color cameras, AND it can record spatial 3D video, AND it can play back spatial 3D video recorded on Apple Vision Pro!

South of Midnight, and @doublefine.com new game, are the two I’m most excited about. For SoM, let’s hope they fix the bouncing static hair animations, how none of the spells emit precise lighting, and none of the detritus (rocks) cast shadows. A great take on the God of War mythology-based spectacle

bummed to hear about Bluepoint’s project cancellation. upside: now they are freed up to deliver an updated version of Blast Factor on PS5 and PC. Would look incredible with 120fps HDR, and the 7.1 surround mixing in that games still blows my mind 18 years later.
