Honestly I'm waiting for the Fortnite Mouse control update on the 7th, so I can get a good feel for how dynamic and accruate the controls are. I was hoping it would've been available already, but i really want to test out how good it will be.

More like Sony trying to distract people from Nintendo by doing it the day before the Switch 2 launch lol

It's ok Jon, are they in the room with us right now?

So you're mad they also made a 3D open world DK game as well, that people have been wanting and waiting way longer for. DK's core games are still 2D platformers, but you're making this a way bigger issue than it should be. Not every game has to appeal to the same audience.

Omg this art is fantastic, I love a scruffy Mario looking mustache πŸ’œπŸ˜‚

Will there be more DS ports/ remasters coming to Switch 2 because of the integration of mouse controls? I would also like to know, are there plans to release a keyboard combo controller to make PC oriented MMORPG's compatible?

I added the max microsim I could and the answer is "everything from nes to 3ds" plus a couple ps1 games πŸ˜‚

I've never played one but I hope they get a switch 2 patch to make it run better than what ive seen 😬

I agree, I never see ref's book anyone for diving, which they're supposed to, which makes a lot of players even more annoyed.

I was in elementary school where we took school trips regularly to museums and exhibits around that time in NYC, very alarming and ominous but I have no idea why...

Lemme guess, all of them are on discount because they know they can sell switch 2 upgrades when it comes out πŸ˜‚

I don't know if it's necessarily trying to convert people to digital, i just think they like showing how many copies of Mario Kart sold like they did on Switch. They're very proud of the best selling games list, and it's definitely a tactic to boost numbers.

I have my own thoughts of why MK world is priced at $80 and DK Bananza is priced at $70. They're trying to force people to buy the bundle, which would cost $30 less so they could show investors that sales numbers for Mario Kart are at an all-time high. I don't expect any other game to be $80.
comment in response to post
I agree they're not consumer friendly when it comes to pricing. But the logistics are the logistics, the amount of cost to import all those consoles, a 40% increase should cause an alarm for the company. I would tend to believe they don't want another wii u fiasco and are looking at options.
comment in response to post
Or circumvent tariff costs πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ if they could claim them as Japanese import they'd save way more money
comment in response to post
What would be hilarious is if they make a deal with Vietnam and China to send the products to Japan and they open them and re-essemble them so they can claim they're a Japanese import which would be way cheaper.
comment in response to post
The hit they would take is actually massive if it was a 1 for 1 percentage of imported Vietnamese goods, which is 46%. No shot they're going to take take that hit.
comment in response to post
I would actually love it (doubt it), if Nintendo is waiting for their legal team to find a loophole to circumvent certain tariff laws in order to get it for the same price point.
comment in response to post
Yea I agree at around 5, what money are they actually making? I would've also expecting this to be a type of title that when you boot up the switch 2 it tells you to go to in order to experience all of the mechanics, and since it's an active manual.

They changed the chipset architecture of their console, so no it's not an easy switch like it would be on steam. Look at how many ps4 games are not full compatible on ps5 because of those reasons alone. Then they have to increase fiedely by almost 4 times their native speeds and pixel count.
comment in response to post
I guess, but that would make more sense for a smaller third-party dev team to do that, so their games stay relevant on more hardware. I think it's justified personally just based off the dlc alone, but i think it would be a bad business decision to have that many devs work essentially for nothing.
comment in response to post
yea but the reality is that the devs have to go back into the games to rework and tinker because they have to translate to much code just to make those improvements possible, it's not as easy as it seems. I think it would be unreasonable to expect they would all do it for free.

Sorry the American in me read this as August 4th at first πŸ˜‚ Glad to see they're prioritizing pre-orders for existing members
comment in response to post
I mean i wouldn't be surprised and i expect that to be the case, considering Sony already established that with the PS5. However, unlike Sony, it appears their first party games have actual additions to more than just better graphics and fps, which is awesome to see.
comment in response to post
yea the fact they quadrupled the pixels and fps is insane to me
comment in response to post
I believe it's only 4k 60fps anyway, it's 1080p 120 fps if im not mistaken

That's fair, I just think people are just consuming more cheap all-in-one platforms for content.
comment in response to post
I still think it comes down to having a lot of things that other platforms have that they're behind on, they only just recently got into airing sporting events. I also think because they're a new platform compared to more notable media brands they're paying the price.

Only smoother Mario jumping mechanic I've seen is Wonder and that speaks volumes

I would say a FitBit is only considered a videogame in the sense that there's leaderboards and designed challenges built into its mechanics, even though it requires physical activity. I think a videogame is the concept of something that has a "game" system, with the system being confined digitally.
comment in response to post
I love the theoretical talks of what people individually consider a "video game" fun, but i think the idea of placing things that exist in a standalone real-world sense, that arent considered games but have an option to use it digitally very funny to me.
