My first attempt at a moon jar. 12lbs of Vegas Buff (which is a lovely claybody to work with) and I pulled it to ~9” or so. I pulled the base too far out and couldn’t correct the curve well enough before the shoulder thinned. Next one will be better.

I marbled about 8lbs of Rods Bod and Rio Red and threw this lovely bottle form that I’m pretty chuffed over. A student said “it looks like when you stir up a Thai Iced Tea” - and damnit if that’s not the best description 🤣 15 inches tall from 16lbs - going to go for taller next time.

Some forms I’m working on for an advanced throwing class I’m taking at Green&Bisque Clayhouse - throw forms that are at least 10” and alter them somehow; 3 altered and 3 ready to be altered (more) once they’ve dried out a bit.
