LinkedIn right now is so weird. It’s like if the people on the Titanic were posting about all the new opportunities to be had on the boat now that it had started sinking.

I would be so much happier if I could leave this God forsaken country, but alas.

Elected people of all stripes, were not built for this moment. They’re all 80 years old, and they think they’re hip, young, and cool. But now they’re riding their three wheeled motorcycle on the interstate in a blizzard, and every other car on the road is honking and yelling at them to pull over.

Translation: “I’m taking your taxpayer dollars, using them to buy crypto that I’m already invested in, and making myself and my rich friends billions of dollars.”

What’s fun about this is that the President doesn’t control funding, that’s Congress and there’s this thing in the constitution about Congress not being able to make laws that control speech, one of the amendments? Anyway I know that the constitution is being retired by the GOP so whatever I guess

When I was unemployed I decided that I could lower my salary rate and still makes ends meet. Then in interviews I would get questions like, “did you mean to put this number down?” And “what’s wrong with you that you’re asking so little?”

Trump never met a gift horse he didn’t look directly in the mouth.

Of course Speaker Mike Johnson is living in the $3.7 million DC home of an election-denying, policy-driving “evangelical pastor who has attacked the separation of church and state as ‘a delusional lie’ and called multinational institutions ‘demonic’”… www.propublica.org/article/mike...

If there can be a recall vote of the mayor, there should be a mechanism for the people to have a recall vote of the president.

Again, the richest man in human history personally individually directed this

Republicans to America. open.spotify.com/track/36D3pq....

This guy wants to run for president as a democrat in 2028?!

Whenever you hear this from politicians, know that it is being pushed purely to benefit commercial real estate conglomerates and private equity firms like Blackstone that bought up a bunch of buildings. This has nothing to do with worker productivity. sfstandard.com/2025/02/25/s...

Sell your Teslas, you cowards!

DOGE technically doesn’t cancel contracts and fire people in the same way a mafia don technically doesn’t murder people and extort businesses

America is an amazing country, sometimes you tell someone they deserve better from their government and workplace and they get mad at YOU

Erin is baking with my kid, and it’s both precious and hilarious.

So - I've actually led Ebola outbreak response at USAID. This is bunk from Elon. They have laid off most of the experts, they're bankrupting most of the partner orgs, have withdrawn from WHO, and muzzled CDC. What's left is a fig-leaf effort to cover their asses politically.

The DOGE boys deserve to be punched in their face everyday for the rest of their miserable lives for this.

On the HHS Leadership call today: 1 employee from CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid Service) and 2 employees from SSA (Social Security Administration) have died by suicide after their firing.

Something I'd love for the press corps to ever ask (they won't): if the government is so bloated and unwieldy that it necessitated the instant elimination of 250,000+ federal employees with presumably hundreds of thousands of firings left to come, why the fuck didn't he do it in 2017?

When Musk’s role in govt or in FAA oversight was under consideration, perhaps it was fair to say “raising concerns about conflicts.” When he announced SpaceX would redesign the ATC system, that was at least a clear conflict. Now they’re buying SpaceX products to do it, it is just plain corruption.

Always deeply relevant

My life right now. youtu.be/4fk2prKnYnI?...

I’ve been burying my head in the sand for self-care, but feel like I’m ready for the full weight of what is happening in this country. So what have I missed?

Going landlord mode at work (fixing every problem by painting over it, not responding to emails for two weeks, raising my wages by $600 with no warning)

I will vote for the first candidate who tells me they're going to make the biggest government possible. Reacher-sized agencies. Braun Strowman-level social benefits. Government so big it starts belching out National Parks and free healthcare. Chungus State.
