My dream vacation is to one of the mineral spring health spa based economy cities
comment in response to post
Find a store with a few options that cost a bunch of money? Surprise they all have stickers that proudly proclaim low mineral content
comment in response to post
Every day I curse this country for the lack of mineral water options

it's really short, they should just read it and as a bonus continue to use that response in ~75% of the same situations

yeah the buy japanese thing for cars is a solid product of 80s-early oughts, korean and us brands have really stepped up while japanese brands started charging prices closer to german cars in the states

I'm not up on the latest models, but the focus line has been reliably quite good for about 20 years now and is a great option to look into (depending on condition, model year, spec etc)

car dealers (esp used) deserve the bad rep they have, so sticking to craigslist/fbm if possible and financing yourself is a good idea, if you can get a rec for a reliable auto shop a pre-purchase inspection isn't a bad investment either
comment in response to post
lean on the "or some such" in terms of the options you laid out, honda/toyota have massively gone up in price and their reputation for being affordable and reliable is out of date by decades. many good recent ford and hyundai options for example

back up cameras are nice, but if you go with an older car (esp hatchbacks) they will have much better visibility which imo is better than a back up camera. bluetooth is also pretty easy to add in a couple different ways depending on whats in the car. just saying, dont let those be make or break

are you looking at/ok with having a payment on a new/used dealer car? i've always purchased older used cars outright (used car loans are available from most credit unions/banks), but a lot of people appreciate the security/reliability of going newer

so sorry man, hopefully you can find something better next

the family's control of the ip has been pretty tight in terms of non-movie usage, that's the main thing i think

an aside: since i know you're definitely gonna be dealing with Real Winter conditions, having actual snow tires in the winter is way more important than AWD

(not sure if you are soliciting advice) there are many factors at play here, but they all start with budget and the local market, then use case (how often you expect to need to drive, how critical it is for the car to be functional etc)

i guess the advice is just do that math and pay for movers if you have furniture that is worth money/that you like
comment in response to post
hello yes several times, my advice is of questionable value though- when I did the math, each time it came out to "not worth it" to keep anything that did not fit in my car (and on top of it)

Of course I have no idea whether that was a spontaneous edition because I smelled like weed but I think it was planned since multiple roommates have attested that my stealth procedures meant that they didn't even know I was smoking weed in the apartment much less have the stench on my person

Why yes I did only complete the mathematics requirement for my BS because I was allowed to apply a web programming class and a stats class where I did nothing but use r in very basic manner

First day of class - forgetting that I had registered for an a.m. class, took my morning bong hit and then after realizing dashed to class and had to take a front row center seat. Intro lecture included an example (it wouldn't make me sense for a student to attend class high thats irrational)

loved the single intro game theory class i took, took it after a polisci elective from the same prof on the mob in russia lol

i know a guy named brad with a county accent and he often says things like "well there you have it" and i am cracking up imagining him laughing and shaking his head at for example the revelation that orange juice comes from an orange juicing machine
