So have been his performances for coming up to 18 months now. It’s not what I would have done but I’m surprised by it and I think a lot echo the sentiment.

Anyway, I defended him for long enough and I thought he was coming back into form earlier this season but his attitude absolutely stinks and that interview the other day was the straw that broke the camels back so, ta ra Marcus.

Not sure why there’s the difference, and I think it’s safe to say that everyone would have preferred for him to push on from the first Ten Hag season but, he hasn’t. For many he probably epitomises the “new” United, where standards have dropped and bumper contracts have still been paid out.
