Yes, that territory. Same size would have costed Ukraine a lot more blood in the southern or eastern Ukraine. It also forced russia to move some of their units to Kursk from occupied territories and destroyed the myth about “impenetrable russia”.

I wouldn’t call it “wasting”. The russian territory is less protected, it can be used to exchange for Ukrainian territory during negotiations.

You don't need to be an expert to know if a country has any weapon production plans - this is publicly available information. Your claim that we have none shows your level of 'expertise.' As I’ve explained, time isn’t on our side, so we're forced to request it while our own are still in production.

People outside Ukraine always think they know better. We do have long-range weapon projects. "Neptune" sunk the Russian flagship Moskva, and more recently "Palianytsia" had a successful hit. But developing these weapons takes time, which is why we're asking for what's already available.

They always say they can't verify whether it's coming from Ukraine or russia.
Talking about "one-sided journalism", look at your own profile.

No, Maks posted it AFTER the situation was explained. And I still see morons whining why we didn't build anything at the border. I've no idea how deaf or blind someone must be to not understand the dangers our soldiers and civilians go though while fortifying them. But they sit at home and complain.

Ex-SBU. And in the interview, at 10:10, he literally says "not on all directions, of course." youtu.be/27mgRUQy2Vw?...
Obviously some of the parts were poorly built - and again, Zelenskyi has explained why: it's too close to the border, our people were dying, and we couldn't hit back.

You said "I’ve seen reports of solders complaining about these fortifications" - where's the link? You posted a quote from some "expert" I've never even heard of before who gave a interview. And like I said: Zelenskyi already explained why some parts of defenses where poorly built.

If you weren't, you wouldn't have posted a single comment under my post. The whole situation has already been explained by both the president and the military, but you keep barking here lol

These specific fortification he was complaining about? Show me the link where they complained.
I have seen complaints in other regions, not at the border, which were absolutely justified.
In this case, which Maks shared, it's at the border. It's different since we can't hit back there.

Only proving how triggered and mad you are - the guy didn't even post anything offensive at all towards you or Maks.
comment in response to

Yea, I am mad at Maks for posting crap after people actually died trying to dig those trenches - and I don't hide it, those were my fellow countrymen, I have full right to be mad.
You, on the other hand, are mad about something that wasn't about you and you try to hide it like a child hahhaha

What "Baba Yaga" lol what are you talking about 🤣 There's a difference between sharing the news and posting outright BS. And I don't care if you're subscribed to him or not, I've been following him for a while myself and this is the first time he posted crap without checking what happened.

He literally complains about the fortifications putting quotation marks, mocking it. Of course I am freaking mad, the guy sits at home and whines while other died trying to bring forth/back all that stuff. If he's such a hero, why won't he go there and move all that stuff if he knows better.
comment in response to

Of course I am mad at those keyboard warriors telling soldiers how and where to dig trenches. As a Ukrainian, he should know that only the third line is the responsibility of the officials. Zelenskyi explained it today. They tried to build the first but due to heavy fire they had to abandon it.
comment in response to
post
I see complainers whining "WHY THE FORTIFICATIONS WEREN'T BUILT AT THE BORDER?!" and then I see other whiners crying "WHY DID THEY DIG AT THE BORDER?!". If you don't dig those trenches and you don't put yourself in danger out there, you have no right to complain.

Another issue here is that we can't hit russian territory with NATO weapon, which makes the digging in that region even more dangerous. Imagine being under constant fire but you can't hit back.
comment in response to

The point I was trying to make is that building fortifications so close to enemy lines, literally ONLY 10 km away, is extremely dangerous and I've seen plenty images of dead civilians trying to dig those trenches. Then I see 🤡 like him complaining why they weren't build. Why won't he try himself?

There wasn't a statement as of why he was replaced. Zaluzhnyi was replaced too - so what? I lost count of how many high-ranking officers have been replaced, it happens every month.

If you want to find a "yapping dog", look in the mirror. Then open Ukrainian telegram channels and check what happens to soldiers and civilians who try to dig close to enemy lines.

I literally live here. And I'm sick and tired of all those smart-asses complaining online at everything while doing absolutely nothing. - and that is a "shitty thing".
comment in response to

Dude they already explained that some positions were impossible to fortify because the enemy was too close. If you're so brave and think you're immortal, go grab a shovel and try to dig at least 1 meter deep - we'll see if you survive even an hour.

Tell your fellow nazi putin to pull out, then there will be peace.
Only Ukrainians can decide if they should keep fighting.
