Within a year American conservatives win convincing everyone the US economy is a disaster and Canadian conservatives win convincing everyone the US economy is incredible.

This was something like half my work when I clerked. I actually found it pretty interesting, basically extremely granular regulatory construction/application.

Your point does make me curious to go back and talk with SmarterChild to see how good it was

I love how Adam Scott manages to give a pretty decent performance despite the abomination around him

We love doing this in tech (e.g. privacy laws), would be amazing to do it in housing for once.

I really like this idea. California gets to brag about how ahead it is and in theory it shouldn't provoke any NIMBY opposition since it doesn't directly create more housing

Netflix is going to be much better at determining how many TV sets are tuned in, but afaik they don't have any way to measure group/bar viewing than Nielsen does

I remember this guy from that article where the author interviewed someone at every income decile. Appreciated his perspective but unfortunately he seems like the exception who didn't have his brain broken by getting rich.

I was thinking the same thing. They're going to need the whole 3 months to fix the field for opening day.

It's a natural consequence of the fact that future residents don't have a vote.

FL-11 is the obvious guess for most. Let's throw in AL-7 as a bonus guess.
For least, CA-15 or -16?

It's GREAT when you want some random college basketball game to be on when you get home from the bars. But once you stop going to the bars it loses its appeal...

By contrast, people get mad if you call SAG-AFTRA just SAG.

Good point. I have to imagine this will only help the staff's career prospects - shows how far they will go to protect their congressperson.

the solution has been right in front of us the whole time: developers simply have to stop building new housing and start building old housing. the only possible explanation for why they don’t do this is greed

I don't get it at all. I'm fine criticizing the NBA when it's bad but the Cup was really fun and the teams were clearly playing hard.

People miss that 3PAs are like the spread offense in fb - they make running it up the middle/driving to the basket easier. Moving the line back would make it easier to pack the paint. I don't really want to go back to 90s basketball

1. Los Campesinos! - Feast of Tongues
If we're being honest, and we are, LC! is the only ongoing concern of a band I REALLY care about, and I'm incapable of being objective here. I love them.
