We really need to learn the difference between expense and investment - wouldn’t it be dumb to divest from something that is returning 3x your investment? NIH produces $3 bucks for every $1 it invests - cutting 18 Bln from NIH is trashing $54 Bln of our money - it cannot happen - it is dumb!
