Next big protest from #50501 et al is on March 4

-Special government employee threatens whole of government… -FBI says nope, DoJ says hells to the yeah, Dept of State says “please engage in an act of self insemination” but diplomatically. -DOGE continues to flounder in a ketamine fueled chainsaw wielding festival of incompetence

Last night's Pentagon massacre is much more than realized. Not just firing the black CJCS and first woman CNO but all the senior JAG officers and hiring a man who just joined 3 different crypto firms tied to Kushner and Thiel as Chairman. I did a deep dive into it open.substack.com/pub/fpwellma...

In Grand Junction Colorado (a conservative town in a largely rural conservative district) over 400 people showed up at a town hall to voice their concerns to Representative Jeff Hurd. Hurd has yet to hold a town hall or appear publicly on the western slope. #cd3unherd

Issues with LTG Caine, USAF, as JCS Chairman: 1. Involved with Joshua Jared’s brother) Kushner’s company. 2. Would need to recalled & would require a waiver (as a recent military retiree) to serve. 3. Did not hold previous assignments at the 4 star level as a service chief or TCC as is the norm

It's also a giant signal to everyone you're about to crime hard, which complicates things.

Never take investment advice from me, but I think European satellite companies are a smart move right now

Pay attention to this. Replacing JAGs with loyalists enables whatever orders Trump and Hegseth issue to be interpreted as lawful.

Chairman of the JCS and navy CNO fired. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, in a statement … said he would be replacing other senior officers, including Adm. Lisa Franchetti, the first woman to serve as chief of naval operations, and Gen. James Slife, a top Air Force officer. wapo.st/41q9tXf

Brace for impact as DoD will also start to relieve senior uniformed leaders in the weeks to come. We need a SECDEF who brings more to the table than push-ups and a history of alcohol abuse. www.politico.com/news/2025/02...

Life is tough, it’s tougher when you’re stupid.

Pre Bilbo smeagolification exemplifies the tenor and tone of reporting needed to cover these lunatics.

After a heavy content morning, let’s take a fun break and rename the Gulf of America, since it seems anybody can just do that now. How about the Gulf of Golf? Or the Gulf of Federal Resilience? Our fed friends are fighters. Give us your best in the comments! gulfof.mapquest.com?name=WTF+is+...

The DHS will use polygraphs to question employees about communications with the media or nonprofit organizations in an effort to root out members of the resistance.

“The strategy targets both the Army’s active-duty cohort and the National Guard and calls for deactivation of four Stryker brigades, six infantry brigades and two aviation brigades.” Look at substantial cuts to EUCOM and AFRICOM as well. www.stripes.com/theaters/eur...

🇩🇰 Denmark today increases the defence budget with 50bn DKK (6.7bn EUR) plus 10bn DKK (1.3bn EUR) extra per year until 2033 going 2.4% of GDP in 2024 to 3.2% in 2025. As discussed probably 50bn more is needed for acquisition.

Firing probationary DoD civilian hires, cutting support functions for uniformed service members, and having a brain donor serving as SECDEF. People will vote with their feet and the best and brightest in uniform (commissioned, warrant, and NCOs) will be the first to leave.

Good to see so many show up to protest today

All the alts

Firing probationary employees is senseless. Probationaries are: -New to their position -Make lower salaries -Recruited to bring in new talent -Far LESS likely to be dogmatic They're being fired because they have fewer protections. Not because this will improve government efficiency or cut costs.

One of the many good people on this site. I’m a marginal cook at best but always look forward to the cooking posts here.

The protest tomorrow isn’t just in D.C. it will be in city halls throughout the country. Hard times lie ahead. Inaction is acceptance.

DOJ leadership has put all Public Integrity Section lawyers into a room with 1 hour to decide who will dismiss Adams indictment or else all will be fired. Sending them strength to stand by their oath, which is to support the Constitution, not the president’s political agenda. 🇺🇸

Trump has fired people who process prescriptions by mail. So if you’re a veteran, order your meds earlier than you normally would. They could take a while.

Will be looking at retention numbers going forward young NCOs and officers with less than six years time in service will vote with their feet.

House GOP wants $4 TRILLION dollar debt ceiling increase. You marks really thought the world’s richest man and the guy with the golden toilet seats were really going to “fight the elites” for you? Nah, they just want their tax breaks.
