Mrs Ifill is not advocating for "I told you so." She's asking those who were so egregiously wrong about assessing this threat to stop taking up oxygen and attention from those who accurately warned of our current predicament and were chided despite their clear-eyed foretelling.

I'm old enough but only had radio in my first car. The all-in-one stereo I inherited from my parents did a pretty decent job playing the leftover 8-tracks from them. I remember having Allman Brothers, The Who's Tommy, a Southern Rock Mix, and the Grateful Dead self-titled which I purchased myself.

GenX lesbians were always watching and attending Final Fours in the 90's. I miss the days where I could easily get the good seats as a grad alumni of an SEC school to attend the Final Four, as I did in 1996 and 1999. Now it's impossible unless you pay a ton of $$$. Still glad WBB has exploded!!

Shifting these functions to private hands jeopardizes data transparency, public safety, and the equitable distribution of knowledge that has historically been free and publicly available. We are calling for an immediate congressional investigation into this matter.
