I have little experience with the trans community to be honest. Growing up in a small town in the 80’s didn’t really provide much exposure. We made jokes etc. as kids do, without repercussions. But along the way I grew up and realized how inappropriate it was. Why can’t others?

This is why our Canadian govt should not allow this “service” to be setup and sold here.

Again, you deflect. If you want to reply and tell me who China has “attacked” in the last 3 years, I am receptive to any information you have. Otherwise, I’m not interested in games

Force, and a digit lost! Not sure if it qualifies as an attack on a nation but I suppose it’s a start ?!?

Again, show me where they have attacked a nation since 1979. I’m not siding with them on their internal human rights record, I’m talking about attack using military force
comment in response to

My initial comment stands, it was a discussion of external conflict, not on their human rights abuses. Stay on track…Show me where they attacked/invaded another nation since 1979?

Let’s not deflect from the external to internal issues. Let’s clear up the external first. Receipts for their 3 years of attacks/aggression on the nations you listed

Please, provide receipts. I am open to a comparison

Territorial disputes are not aggression just as self defence is not assault. If there was evidence of it carrying on like western nations (bombing campaigns/attacks, double-ending conflicts (funding/arming), annexation through force, then yes, that’s aggression. China is based on growth, not theft.

This is exactly what propaganda has left us with. I used to feel the same way until I actually looked into the country, their policies on foreign aid and infrasture creation in developing countries. I now look at the U.S., who is poising to “take” Gaza and siding with Russia.

Considering China hasn’t attacked another nation since 1979, I would consider this action of concern but not out of line. The U.S. on the other hand is not so squeak clean with their agendas and the world turns a blind eye. Let’s not villainize China because of propaganda

My thoughts exactly. I can only imagine his struggles. What’s most painful is knowing that a scumbag doctor was profiting off of it.

While I absolutely see your point, it’s ironic that the “right” has a campaign of flooding and doing the opposite to what you are suggesting. It seems to have been effective. Facts have proven to be too boring for many people 😕

An uncomfortable truth that, regardless of who you side with, should make us want this to end. Tragedy such as this should make us feel horrified, push our ego, bias and pride aside and make us push hard for peace. But instead, I see anger and “yeah, but” statements indicating we are lost

The “terror”, in this case, probably comes from the thought of her having to ever possibly debate you. I suppose that makes you a terrorist?

While I am somewhat bias toward Ukraines success, I would prefer that this be done. Loss of life over a chess game of the rich and powerful is not cool at all. Until leaders are forced to stand the front lines I doubt there will be peace anywhere.

We (Canada) know that the people have great value. The administration…we can talk about that later. You folks need to put them on a leash.

I used to train/prpepare puppies for scent detection for law enforcement. It would be interesting to teach one to indicate mushrooms. They use pigs for truffles so I can’t see it being too difficult ;)

My only concern is if Israel was behind it. A significant trail and reason for the questionable military actions of he US to present day.

The U.S. just needs to stop being involved. Israel has had the U.S. at war in the Middle East for a while now, it’s time to stop.

Don’t let fear be what shapes you and your outcome. Have a solid vision and plan for what you want versus fearing and obsessing over what you don’t want. If you can see it and change it in your mind you can support the change in the world.

This is really unfortunate. I have never had a new Mac do this, not at home or in my years as a graphic designer…very odd. But, a good opportunity to look into network storage options. I have a Qnap NAS for this reason (and others). Having mirrored storage is key. I’m sorry for your experience ☹️

This might sound odd and hopefully not inappropriate, but when I think of him I also think of the late Sinead Oconnor and her call-out of the Catholic Church. It essentially ended her career but people soon realized the truth. This man is a brave, honourable individual, then and now
