And now for a golden shower … piss on that idea.

We’ll be there in the summer - for a race that was selected before the election. Normally we’d stay for 2 to 3 weeks. Net loss to the states ~ 5,000.00 to 10,000.00 likely closer to 10,000.00. Estimate only.
We won’t be back for 4 years or until he is gone.
We’ve only ever had a good time.

With you and Charlie. I don’t hate Americans, nor America … but Trump? Yes, I hate him. And no one gets to say we’ll be the 51st state; or that we’ll be annexed. No one. Not without a fight. This won’t be fixed until Trump is gone; moreover the fix won’t be easy as the USMCA is being ignored!

Or losses in a war with the Houthi that the US doesn’t want to admit to, or run through congress or ruin his orangeness’ chance of a Nobel Piece Prize. So much war readiness from Kegseth. Looks poor anyway we examine this.

From one Canadian to another, Prime minister Carney “don’t go”. Ghost that irrelevant buffoon. He is irrelevant to world economics and needs to be shown that. Let Canada lead, and if we invoke the articles of NATO along the way, so be it.

I think Mark Carney should ghost Trump. Never speak to him again. Seriously. Why bother? Invoke charters of NATO if it comes to that. Trump is irrelevant and Canada should show that to the world.

Biden made it work especially as he was deporting more than the current Trump administration; yet Biden also didn’t fire more than half his workforce. I am guessing that bi-partisan boarder bill Trump killed could’ve done wonders right about now (as long as the staffing stayed nominal).

Idiot. Tourism was ~2.95 Trillion for the US last year. This year, the projected loss thus far ~90 billion. Over the next four? Well, the orange buffoon will continue to ruin the US for everyone, but most especially tourists and immigrants. Good luck with that.

So much for the campaign of the president of peace.

You are talking about the worlds second largest economy. In fact, after Trump’s first term, China’s economy was supposed to out pace the American economy by 2029. Thankfully the Biden economy changed that.
No difference except much larger. She is out of her depth.

Well that happened. America … it is over.
I am profoundly saddened.
Canada votes on April 28th. May we learn from your mistakes. Please let us learn.

Any tourist, apparently anyone on their way to their appointment to become a US citizen. Tourism was 2.36 trillion in revenue last year; roughly 9% of the GDP. Who does this without thinking of the cost. I guarantee tourists no longer feel safe in the US.
comment in response to

Yes, it is what America has become. Say good bye to tourism - all tourism. Why would anyone come to the states, especially as a tourist, if that can happen and btw they won’t return you from CECOT.
Serious repercussions. Don’t be surprised when no one wants to visit. Period.

Smuggle? Return. Simple language; such a serious miss-interpretation. On the side of willful ignorance. There is no suggestion of smuggling, merely returning.

But how would we know? That is of course rhetorical; the employer has embargoed all data and documentation on the accounting error.

The damage to the Treasury bill (bond) market will be hard to assess until at least 3 months from now. Never mind the other data that won’t be reported on. The US economy has likely sustained serious - yet not irreparable damage. Well I hope it is not irreparable.

Not sure it was quiet; we read about it ~4 weeks ago. When notice was given of intent. The slow bleed and inviting Europe to do the same - pure genius. Great article!

I am starting to believe the Conservative justices know EXACTLY what they are doing. They know the stakes. They have a plan. Federalist Society. Heritage Foundation. Project 2025. They know EXACTLY what they are doing.

This is NOT democracy; ballot SELECTION is just wrong. The worst part is that it is normalized. Federally, Florida and Texas have been doing it for the past 20 years.

Top ally in the Pacific? Nope, that was Canada. Atlantic too. Was. Was Canada. If I am not remembering correctly, Elon was predicting Japan’s economy could go to zero last year. Plus, I am not sure they’ve forgiven, nor forgotten Hiroshima and Nagasaki. You’d have to ask them. Jesse wouldn’t ask.

Well lets just find out; I tire of the cards metaphor. Not cards - at all. It is hard to measure how pissed off Canada is. Flights 70% down. I haven’t bought an American product since January. I think and suggest that most Canadians are doing the same. And JD thinks we are playing cards. Nope.

I agree with your sentiment. Funny thing Carney suggests lowering Federal tax by 1%, in addition to eliminating the carbon tax, in addition to reneging on a 16% capital gains increase; and PP copies him, campaigning on lowering the Federal rate by 2.5%. PP only mentioned relief after Mark Carney did

It is rather odd … that allies such as Canada and Denmark, having to consider invoking article 5 against another NATO member.
