You miss the point. I would have 100% faith in a hall-of-fame coach with championship rings to turn around a team being rebuilt vs. a former player and wannabe coach with no coaching successes after multiple years.

Apples and Oranges. Pop has won rings and is a hall of fame coach. Billups is a former player and a wannabe coach who is failing.

Um, look at the team's record for the past 3 years...and the revolving door of players. Fans don't want to pay to see a team in constant development, they pay to see a team win. Period. I know the ownership & GM are a big part of the problem, but Billups is equally at fault. Time for him to move on.
