ISTG every couple months the chucklefucks at Unity find a new way to ruin their reputation. All they had to do was put up a big sign that said "They made Hollow Knight with our engine" and then profit from now until the heat death of the universe, but the CEOs must only have two yachts or something.

Also specifically SOTN on either PSP or PS4 because of Maria mode. Sega Saturn version is worth trying since Maria plays entirely differently, but PSP/PS4 Maria is the GOAT and is super fun to sprint through the castle with.

Hmmm... Release order is fine and probably best since they mechanically build on each other, but if you want my definitive play order:
- SOTN
- Harmony
- Aria
- Portrait (make sure to pay Richter and Maria mode)
- Dawn (Make sure to play the extra mode!)
Play the rest first or last.

Yeah, Order of Ecclesia can be brutal. I also like it the least out of the handheld Igavanias, the structure just doesn't work for me. Still, worth playing at least once, and it is a lot of people's favourite Igavania.

Look, I know people get set in their ways and no one is immune to propaganda...
But goddamn, there's some real obvious bullshit out there and I don't even know how anyone falls for a shitty low-effort sign that says "muslims do not like dogs"

Honestly, as someone who watched all the Transformers movies and has a bunch of Spongebob games...
Yeah, this is 100% correct. I just wish Transformers One was more of a Spongebob The Movie: The Game than a Cosmic Shake.

Battle For Bikini Bottom is a Spongebob tie-in game that's way better than it has any right to be. Bumblebee is a truly sincere and heartfelt coming of age film after five schlocky action blockbusters from the Transformers franchise.
Battle For Bikini Bottom also came out on the Gamecube

Yeah this video shows it at the timestamp, the one where you get headbutt you sidehop for but the one where they run and swing at you is where you have to backflip. Won't stop me from fucking it up but that's why we got Mipha's Grace my siblings in Christ

*thinks hard*
I mean, I'm sure there are, but I cannot remember fighting one in TOTK. A cursory Google search tells me there are 34 Lynels but IDK. IIRC the charge attack is weird because you can get a perfect dodge but because they swing horizontally you have to backflip.

Regular People: It's pretty crazy how Disney gets to hoard the ideas of people who are long since dead instead of those ideas being free to the public
Billionaires: If only I could fuck over creatives even harder, that'd be pretty cool actually.

Heck yeah! No matter how good I get at the game, the constructs make me eat shit at least a couple times. We will not be talking about the Gleeoks, who were put in to humble me specifically after getting cocky about parrying BOTW guardian lasers 🥲

Sourdough is appropriately rated, but disproportionately priced. It's like 25% more expensive at our grocery store, my heart goes out to our gluten sensitive comrades.

With you on that, but on the other hand... The shit storm that the out of the way pride flags in Spiderman PS4 kicked up. Maybe it just doesn't take that much these days.

Think it's also a form of hostile architecture. If you don't want to end up hating your audience, it might be a necessity. I've unfollowed channels like Yongyea because I can't scroll down to the comments because of how toxic they are.

It's something that always frustrated me. Calling pornography an addiction classes it the same as a chemical addiction, which simultaneously exaggerates the issue and minimizes drug addiction. Quit heroine? It's just like not masturbating, after a week you won't even miss it!

As a non-American, we paid R200-R400 for PS2 games when I was a kid, which was about $60 at the conversation rate in those years. TOTK came out at R1400 and on Steam Elden Ring is regionally priced at a mere R850
It's so much worse if you aren't American, games are so much more expensive now.

I don't remember them showing the mouse with it tho, I just remember the wheelchair basketball game, but my memory isn't what it used to be so maybe they did show off the mouse function with that.

What's funny is that they didn't show off the one genre it would massively would benefit... Real time strategy games! What a great opportunity to put a Civ or Age of Empires on show. Maybe real time strategies are just that out of fashion.

I keep thinking about how there are so many Americans driving their Ford F150's to the minimall and back, and then they expect the rest of the world to do the same.
You know which Ford is popular here? The Ford Bantam. People want a workhorse, not a gas guzzler.

For the low low price of $450 you can play a Wii U game from 2017 again! And for the low cost of subscribing to our online service, we won't even make you pay for it again! Unless you actually bought it for the Wii-U, in that case, fuck you, that will cost $70, why didn't you pay your Switch tax?

Accessibility; For only $100 extra!
Like good on them, very cool stuff, also wish it wasn't locked to a system that's 20% more expensive than the highest end version of the last one. Economics can be a barrier to accessibility too.

As I look up from my Switch Lite, bro, maybe we just did the math and $399 plus all my steam games < $450 + $90 per game. Cash is scarce.

If I've learned anything over the years, it's that nothing good comes from enabling voice chat. Unless I'm playing with friends, it is off.

Buying indie games also netted you bangers for relatively little. The value I got out of my switch when the only games I had were Hollow Knight, Stardew and Celeste... Unmatched.
