Looking at this I don’t think it matters if the players see this. Gives direction and flavor but is open ended up enough for GMs to work in. Like think about how many times “an NPC asks for help” in games. Doesn’t detract from the player experience. (If they even remember what they read lol)

True. Maybe then include a one pager in the player book of high level setting info they need to know from the player perspective? (Can be mostly copied over)
Of course you want to ground the players in the setting but they are also “playing to find out” so they don’t need nearly as much as the GM

I like tables near where I’d be using the information. So if in the setting book there’s a tavern I’d rather have the table of a tavern events or tavern NPCs on the tavern page instead of say an appendix in the GM guide so when I need the tavern I can open it up and go great everything is here.

I’ve been playing a bunch of the Daggerheart open beta rules (officially coming out late May) and really loving it! Has been easy to teach people coming from D&D but is also more narrative/flavor focused.

Hi all! I'm making a zine this month. Take Wikipedia articles, grab some quotes, and procedurally generate twisted powerful wizards! Use them as characters in your games or have a Wizard-Off with the included mini-RPG! Also: A bunch of weird wizardlore.

The website Buffer can be connected to Bluesky and you can use it to schedule posts! Not as good as in app of course but it works alright.

In addition, if (unlike me) you can graduate from NO budget to a SMALL budget, there are a plethora of highly affordable and talented stock artists with huge libraries and a variety of styles to fit just about any project.
I've seen even big players like #MCDM use some of this stock art!

You and your six other experts must survive the year by meeting the goals in the chapter and you do this by purchasing stuff from each expert’s catalog! Lots of pre reqs and resource management. If you can make it through all 7 years you win!

The story starts w a brutal storm wiping out a village (this is a children’s book mind you) and each chapter is a year in game with a little bit of story and some educational facts about the time period.

Ikr 😂 I love the number of roads that ended up going into the Jungle of Doom. But none through it. I wonder why that could be!
