It doesn't excuse what he has turned into, but knowing what I know about my own son who has thought processes similar to Elon, I kind of understand why he has turned out the way he has turned out. Until about a year or two ago I was defending Elon Musk. I do not do so anymore. 5/5

10 years ago Elon Musk actually said that people who are rich like him should be taxed more. He even cashed out some stock in a manner that would cause him to pay more in taxes when he could have used another method to get the money with a lower tax liability. 2/6

I am not going to watch the inauguration. Much of what the president-elect thrives on is ratings. Does anybody know of any movement to make the inauguration the least watched inauguration since the advent of television? If you want to watch it you can watch a rerun on YouTube - not live.

Happy birthday! My rescues. They were a bonded pair that the rescue would only adopt out together. I have no idea what their birthdays are so we celebrate adoption day. They are about 6 and 7 years old.

I used to be pro euthanasia until I was required to do a presentation for my master's degree (nursing). No one wanted to do the against position so I did it. Everyone including myself became against it. Today, we're capable of controlling every symptom a dying person has. No need for euthanasia.

We do Thanksgiving to celebrate what we are thankful for. My aunt (by marriage) is Native American. My children know the history of the United States and the Pilgrims. We don't emphasize the pilgrims in my house. Columbus day was another day and is no longer a legal holiday.
