Ya, it really didn't bother him at all. I always thought it was odd that he tripped over it for years, so watch out for that. It wasn't quite as dramatic as Lulu's, but much the same otherwise. Do you know how she did it?

Pretty sure my old dog Hudson had this for 3-4 years before he passed away. Other than tripping over his toe once in a while, it didn't seem to bother him.

Happy tears, inspiration tears, and also grief tears. I'm sure I'm not the only one who experienced those in this video as well

They made it to the start line. They made it through the finish line. With dignity, humility, grace and integrity. What an inspirational team of friends who travelled a trail and overcame - together. In their own way. Legends made. The story will be retold. The Spirit of the North is alive.

Absolutely incredible!! I'm so proud of Q for doing what he needed to do in a way that worked for him.
And of course so proud of the Queen for leading the way. Brilliant!
A true #Qditarod.
I'll just be sobbing on the couch for a bit...

A few photos of my ridiculous, fluffy beast, Charlie. He provides entertainment and will give you a paw to hold for comfort. Oh and despite being a total ham, he's the cuddliest dog ever.

I remember meeting you, Jeems, and Mac and being introduced to the #UglyDogs. I was self-employed & working from home in a town where I didn't have many friends. Bler's stories and this community on the 🐦 app made me feel less alone.
And I remember hitting refresh 100000 times on a snowy Tuesday.

This is a fantastic idea! I use trail cams for work and some of the photos are pretty incredible.
I'm jumping into garden mode. There's still a foot of snow on the ground, but I've already started planting seeds

I think I'm too old for that reference, but I can tell you he fosters puppies all summer long for the local shelter. Every summer, I think. When I was there, they were fostering 14 puppies...

Connor is great! (I met him only once, he was fostering some puppies) I think he's had the Bravermountain seal of approval for at least a few years now. I should check out his merch.

Seeing this here tonight is what convinced me to stay awhile. The power of #UglyDogs is unmatched.
Oh, and I donated to ReRuns GFM even though it was fully funded. What's the worst that'll happen? They'll have money to rescue another future sled dog? Maybe they'll come run the Yukon quest again??

But I've missed the community I found on the bird app, so I'll give this a shot.
Charlie and I are going to take some long forest walks this weekend. And hope next week is just a tiny bit easier.
