Love isn't seasonal and neither is Covid. You can show people you care by wearing a well-fitted mask and protecting them from infection that could result in long-term, debilitating symptoms.

In March 2023, we asked the NS provincial political leaders to offer condolences to those who lost loved ones & commit to implementing strategies to protect Nova Scotians from Covid. Our request was ignored, and Nova Scotians continue to die & become disabled due to Covid. Will the gov. ever act?

I know there's been years of disinfo downplaying the flu in order to dismiss COVID as a threat, but both things cause serious illness and are best avoided. This flu wave is no joke. It's a good idea to get this season's flu vaccine (it's not too late), and wear a well-fitting mask like an N95.

David Lynch spent the last portion of his life in isolation. He said it was due to being high-risk and unable to risk getting COVID. He’s not the only person with disability or illness who’s been left behind. Everywhere you go without an n95 is a place you’ve decided disabled people don’t belong.

I love the outpouring of love for David Lynch. I don't love how many of the people who are remembering him have stopped masking in public. If you've stopped masking, you're why he had to choose to spend his final years isolated at home. I don't know what to do with that anger.
